HOW WILL PEOPLE REMEMBER YOU? :In the city of Joppa there was a follower of Jesus named Tabitha. Her Greek name, Dorcas, means "a deer". She was always doing good things for the people and giving money to those in need.

While Peter was in Lydda, Tabitha became sick and died. They washed her body and put it in an upstairs room. The followers in Joppa heard that Peter was in Lydda, which was not far away. So they sent two men, who begged him, "Hurry, please, come quickly!"

Peter got ready and went with them. When he arrived, they took him to the upstairs room. They were crying and showing him the coats and other clothes that Tabitha had made during her time with them.

Peter sent all the people out of the room. He knelt down and prayed. Then he turned to Tabitha's body and said, "Tabitha, stand up!" She opened her eyes. When she saw Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her stand up. Then he called the believers and widows into the room. He showed then Tabitha; she was alive (Acts 9 V 36-41).

Mmmm! TABITHA the woman who made a positive impact to her community, she was not selfish instead she was serving her people with passion.

The Bible says there was a time when she got sick and died, instead of people accepting her departure they cried and acted towards the situation. The Bible say Peter was known as a disciple whom God was using through miracles, when the people knew that he was nearby they sent two men to ask him to come.

When he arrived the people showed him the work done by Tabitha. Hmmmm. Jesus.

They were crying showing him the coats and other clothes done by this woman, and he asked to be left alone and he SAID unto her "TABITHA STAND UP, immediately she opened her eyes and came back to life.

What is it that you and I impact to people who come across us on daily basis? When you and I have a situation will they act because of being true ambassadors of God's kingdom in their lives or will they do nothing?

Waning against Prejudice.

My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others? For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, β€œYou can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives? Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him? But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court? Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear? Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: β€œLove your neighbor as yourself.” But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law. For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws. For the same God who said, β€œYou must not commit adultery,” also said, β€œYou must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law. So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.

TOPIC: WHAT DETERMINES TESTIMONIES
Isaiah 58:9 "Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am..."

Testimony can be defined as the reality of what God has done in one's life. It is to see the reality of God's promises in your life. What are God's promises in your life this year? Even though it seems nothing like that is going to happen, the good news is, it shall turn to you as testimonies this month in Jesus name!

However, there are certain steps one must take to see the fulfilment of prophecies. These steps includes:

♦️ BELIEVE THAT GOD IS ABLE
"For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole" (Mk 5:28). You must not allow the gravity of your situation to rob you of your faith in the ability of God. This woman got her testimony because she believed.

What is in this 21 day prayer and fasting for me? Prayer and fasting is a divine instruction designed to enable us profit in all our endeavours in life. It is the meeting point between God and man. Regular engagement in fasting facilitates answers to prayers.

This means, you and I shall be enjoying answers to prayers this month, halleluyah! Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am..."(Isaiah 58:9).

♦️ Father, as I engage in this prayer and fasting this month, every bo***ge around my life is shattered in Jesus name.
♦️ Father, as I commit myself to this prayer and fasting, every issue of concern in my life, home, career and business shall turn into testimony in Jesus name.
♦️ Pray for any other personal needs.
