THE SILENT ENEMY — THE SPIRIT OF FAMILIARITY

There is a silent enemy that doesn’t attack with noise. It slowly attacks your ability to see, honor, value, and recognize what God has placed around you. That enemy is the spirit of familiarity.

Some people lose their destiny because they became too familiar with what they were once afraid to lose.

When you hear the truth so often that it no longer convicts you…
When you stay around blessed people for so long that you stop recognizing the grace upon their lives…
When what once amazed you becomes “normal”…

Familiarity kills wonder, and when wonder dies, honor often dies with it. And when honor dies, access can close.

Uzzah touched the Ark because he had become familiar with what was holy. He was close to it, but closeness did not give him permission to treat it casually. — 2 Samuel 6:6–7

Even Jesus was underestimated because people became familiar with Him:
“Is this not the carpenter’s son?” — Matthew 13:55

How do you know familiarity may be working in you?

1. You no longer value what once changed you.
2. Correction irritates you instead of helping you grow.
3. You dishonor the people God sent to help you.
4. Your gratitude begins to disappear because you feel entitled to God’s grace.
5. You become spiritually numb—you can see the work, but you no longer recognize the grace behind it.

Isaiah 6:10 warns about hearts becoming dull and unable to truly hear and understand.

May God keep us from becoming so familiar with His presence, His Word, His people, and His blessings that we stop recognizing the wonder in them.

Never let familiarity make you lose honor.
What has become ordinary to you may still be a miracle. 🙏🏽🔥

📖 Luke 1:5–23

Even when you are doing good and walking faithfully with God, difficult things can still happen. Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous, yet they carried a long season of waiting. But their delay was not a denial — God was working according to His own timing. 🙏🏽

Sometimes, when God finally answers our prayers, His answer can even scare us because it comes in a way we never expected. But the lesson is simple: stay in your position, even when it is difficult, even when it takes longer than you hoped.

God has not forgotten you. What He promised, He will fulfill in His appointed time. ⏳❤️

And while God is still working, don't talk too much. Some things are better kept between you and God until He has finished what He started.

When God blesses you, you won't have to announce it or prove it. The blessing will speak for itself. People will see what God has done in your life.

Stay faithful. Stay in position. Trust His timing. God is still working. 🙏🏽🔥

Matthew 24:6 —
Jesus warns that we will hear about wars and rumours of wars, but we should not be afraid or troubled, because these things must happen, but the end has not yet come.

In short : Don’t panic when you hear about wars or bad events. Stay calm and keep your faith in God.

Exodus 20:12

Honour your father and mother so that you may live a long and blessed life. It teaches us to respect, value, and obey our parents.

Ephesians 6:1–3

Children are instructed to obey and honour their parents, because this is pleasing to God. God promises that those who honour their parents will experience well-being and a long life.

In short: Both passages teach that respecting and honouring our parents is God’s command and comes with His blessing.

FULFILLING GOD’S PLAN IN EVERY SEASON 🙏🏽🔥

📖 Matthew 5:17
📖 Matthew 4:1–7
📖 Isaiah 53:10
📖 Psalm 92:13

God’s plan does not stop because the season becomes difficult. Jesus Himself came to fulfill the will of the Father, even through suffering, temptation, rejection and sacrifice.

You don’t need to be a “poster” to do God’s will. You don’t need a platform, a title, or a crowd watching you. We carry Christ wherever we go. 🙏🏽

Whether we are on the mountain or in the valley, in a season of blessing or a season of testing, our calling remains the same: FULFILL GOD’S WILL.

Sometimes God is not asking you to change your circumstances. He is asking you to remain faithful in the circumstances.

🌱 “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish…” — Psalm 92:13

So wherever God has planted you in this season, flourish there. Serve there. Worship there. Grow there. And fulfill His purpose there.

Every season has a purpose.
Every place has a purpose.
And your life has a purpose in God.

🔥 Don’t wait for the perfect season to serve God. Fulfill His will in the season you are in.
