Many Christians pray, fast, serve, sow, but they don't EXPECT anything to happen. They pray to feel religious, not to get RESULTS.

[ ] God is a God of results. He is not a God of effort, He is a God of results. Expectation is the mother of manifestation.

[ ] If you pray and don't expect results, you are just making noise. Proverbs says "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off." Prov 23:18

1. WHY MANY DON'T SEE RESULTS

The lame man at Beautiful Gate looked at Peter and John EXPECTING to receive something. If you expect nothing, you will get nothing.

*Theme*: God doesn’t just watch what you do. He watches _why_ you do it.

INTRODUCTION: THE PROBLEM WITH SURFACE-LEVEL CHRISTIANITY

• We live in a world of likes, views, and applause.
• We can do the right thing... for the wrong reason.
• We can preach, give, serve, pray... and still miss God.

Matthew 6:1“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them...”_

• Jesus had a bigger problem with Pharisees than with sinners. Why?

• Because sinners knew they were broken. Pharisees did the right actions with a wrong heart.
Example. The story of the woman caught in adultery

*God judges our motive, not just our action.*

God gives us 4 seasons so we don’t get bored and so the ground can rest.
He does the same with us.
Some seasons are for working. Some for resting. Some for growing. Some for waiting.

*Key truth*: The God of spring is also the God of winter.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV Psalms 1:3 NKJV Galatians 6:9NKJV

Big Idea God is with you in every season. Nothing you’re going through is wasted.

*Introduction - Story: The Tree 🌳
Look at a tree through the year.
In spring it buds. In summer it’s full and green. In autumn leaves fall. In winter it looks dead.
But the tree never stops being a tree. The roots are still growing even in winter.

Your life is like that too. God is growing you *season in and season out*.

*1. Every Season Has a Purpose*
*Ecclesiastes 3:1"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."_

God doesn’t waste seasons.
- *Spring season*: New things, new opportunities, growth. Plant seeds here.

- *Summer season*: Harvest, joy, fruit. Enjoy and share it.

- *Autumn season*: Letting go. Things fall off so new things can grow.

- *Winter season*: Quiet, waiting, roots going deeper.

*Youth/Adult point*: If you’re in winter, it doesn’t mean God left. It means He’s working underground.

*2. God Is Faithful In Every Season*
*Lamentations 3:22-23* — _"His mercies are new every morning."_

The weather changes, but God doesn’t.
When you have money, He’s God. When you’re broke, He’s still God.
When your friends are around, He’s God. When you feel alone, He’s still God.

*Story*: Farmers don’t plant in winter and panic. They trust that spring is coming.
God wants us to trust Him the same way.
