Jeremiah 31v 31-36
God was speaking through Jeremiah and says the time is coming where I will bring a new covenant to my people and the new covenant be like the old one because our forefathers neglected the old covenant and this new covenant it will stay in our minds and he will write it in our hearts so that we may not forget it. he says no one is going to tell anyone about this new covenant because everyone by that time know who's the God of Israel.

For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh And Blood

Firstly in this last part of the chapter, Paul urges us saying "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might". Ephes 6:10. In verse 12 he gives us the reason why we must be strong. He says

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"

Paul tells us that there is a war out there which every believer is engaged in. This war may be in your soul (Rom 7:15-25), it may be against the things of this world (1 John 2:15). It might in your house, workplace, school, business, church, marriage, body etc. It is destructive But this war is not against flesh and blood (PERSONS)

We are fighting against the devil himself and all those different fallen wicked spirits in air. This war is even difficult to understand and describe. Paul says we fight against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. But it is the most difficult, tough, dangerous and destructive war.

Evil and demonic spirits are real and dangerous. These spirits can render us as believers prayerless, powerless, ineffective, almost useless in the kingdom of God, living a defeated life, hating other believers, hopeless, oppressed, depressed, not giving and tithing to the Lord, not fellowshipping, fighting against each other, endless conflicts etc.

Your enemy is not your children, brethren, neighbour, husband, wife, colleagues, employees, or bosses. So please know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Your real enemy is those dirty satanic spirits. Destructive, controlling, manipulative spirits. That's why we must be strong in the Lord. We are not fighting against human beings. Don't hate any person but love every person.

Remember We Wrestle Not Against Flesh And Blood. May God bless you.

Count It All Joy

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing".
James 1:2-4

If I have to be honest, I must admit and confess that my first reaction to trials and sufferings is that of frustration, anger, and lots of questions, despair, or even bitterness and not that of joy or thankfulness for the trials or difficulties. And honestly when I react like that, I get so disappointed and discouraged with myself seeing how far I still have to go to become a mature Christian.

This text teaches us to be joyful when we go through troubles. It teaches that we must understand that in times of trial or trouble, our faith grows, our patience grows so that in our character, we will become perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Troubles supply in our life all that is necessary for our Christian growth and maturity.

It means that we should not pray so much for the removal of our troubles, trials and difficulties but instead we must pray for the wisdom so that we are able to see our troubles and suffering in a positive way (Rom 8:28)

We need to count it all joy and pray for God's wisdom to guide us under every trouble and trial. Let's never be discouraged and complain when trouble hits home.

Listen to what Paul says "Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong". 2Cor 12:8-10.

Count it all joy when you encounter many troubled. God's Grace is sufficient for you. Troubles will make you grow, mature and complete. Gof bless you. Lovely day.

Remember as the year is nearing to the end we must all know that it was not by our knowledge or our wisdom but it was by the grace of the living God we should praise him all the time, even in year 2016 we have to apply prayer in all that we will be doing may the grace of God be with us. This is undeserved grace given to us by God.
