06.06.2026- Part 3

Yesterday, the Bishop of the Diocese of the Free State, +Dintoe, spent meaningful time with young men at St. Anthony Anglican Church in Botshabelo- Mangaung Archdeaconry.

In partnership with stakeholders from both within and outside the Church, the session was centered on mentoring and shaping young boys into future leaders — men of integrity, purpose, and service. This was more than a talk. It was a deliberate investment in the next generation.

Building leaders, one conversation at a time.

Under the powerful theme, “No Slaves to the Streets. Soldiers for the King,” we spoke identity, vision, and responsibility into the lives of our boys. They were reminded that their future is not determined by the streets, but by the King they choose to serve.

Sincere thanks to all the organizers, partners, and participants who made this day a success. It was truly a meaningful day spent pouring into young lives.

Part 3- Bfn Archdeaconry Celebrates Corpus Christi – A Feast of Unity!

On the 4th June, the Bloemfontein Archdeaconry gathered at St. Peter’s to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi. The service was led by Bishop Dintoe and concelebrated by priests from across the Archdeaconry:

From St. Patrick’s: Canon Mafereka and Reverend Kaibe
From Holy Cross: Father Zenzile and Reverend Lekhethe
Host: Father Koedi of St. Peter’s, our host parish for the day

The Unity of Christ’s Body Corpus Christi calls us to remember that the Eucharist is more than bread and wine — it is the very Body of Christ given for us. “This is my Body, given for you”– Luke 22:19.

As Bishop Dintoe led us and priests from St. Patrick’s, Holy Cross, and St. Peter’s stood together at one altar, we saw that truth lived out. Different parishes, different communities, but one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one Body – Ephesians 4:5.

In a world that divides us, the Table unites us. When we eat from the same Bread and drink from the same Cup, we are reminded that we belong to each other. Our differences don’t disappear — they are brought together and made holy. “For we, though many, are one bread and one body” – 1 Corinthians 10:17.

May this Feast renew in us a deep love for the Eucharist and a deeper commitment to walk as one Body, serving Christ in one another.
