LET'S TALK ABOUT MALADAPTIVE DAY DREAMING.
Google will tell you it's a mental health issue where a person daydreams excessively.
But as Christians, we know that behind every action there's a spirit in control, either the Holy Spirit leading you or demonic spirits misleading you.
When the Bible says that Satan portrays himself as angel of light, I don't think many of us understand the depth of that scripture.
The enemy has mastered the art of making something seem so harmless, yet behind the scenes, he's stealing he's stealing, killing and destroying you. For example secular music and maladaptive daydreaming.
Maladaptive daydreaming is one of the strategy the enemy uses to introduce you to demonic spirits.
Sometimes we don't know the power that lies in our imaginations/mind But the enemy knows, because everytime you imagine, you're engaging with the spirit realm, so if he can get you to tap out of the realities of this world and into the spirit realm subconsciously, he can introduce spirits to you and by your mind you begin to possess those spirits As simple as daydreaming about having a boyfriend and holding hands, the next day it gets sexual, before you know it p**nographic spirits, spirit husbands and wives have been introduced to you and that's going to cost you a certain level of consecration to cast them out Not only do they introduce you to spirits but with maladaptive daydreaming, since it taps you put of realities, you miss your kairos moment, encounters with God through meditation because the enemy has stolen that time from you.
The Bible says keep your eyes and mind Fixed on things above and the enemy uses maladaptive daydreaming to constantly keep you in a state where you tap out of realities.
If he can get you to tap out of your consciousness, he can stop you from hearing God's will for your life and introduce spirits That can inhabit the Temple of the Holy Spirit, so he now has you, he now owns your consciousness.
I know some people, even therapist who encouraged this, saying it's normal, it's building your imaginations but as Christians, WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY? Cast down all imaginations that don't please God, imaginations that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God.
Just so you know, very action is backed by a spirit, be alert and discerning......
