THEME: The Voices vs The Voice - John 10:1-5

The Bible teaches us there are many _voices_ in the world, but there is only one true _Voice_ - the Voice of the Shepherd.

1. The Sheep know His Voice (John 10:3-4)
As a born-again Christian, you are designed to hear God. You know His Voice. He calls you by name and leads you. A true sheep will not follow a stranger's voice.

2. We must respond with urgency
Many Christians hear God say "pray" or "read the Bible," but we say "after the soapie." When we delay, that Voice goes silent. We must treat the things of God with urgency.

3. Not every advice is from God (2 Cor 11:14 & Matt 16:22)
Satan does not come with horns. He masquerades as an angel of light, sometimes as someone who cares for you. That is why we need the spirit of discernment. Even Peter's voice that sounded caring was inspired by Satan.

4. How to identify God's Voice
The Voice of God carries Life and Peace. The voice of the enemy brings confusion, fear and condemnation. When you involve God, even in your dressing He will give you direction.

If you cannot hear the Voice of God as a born-again Christian, it is a great concern. Learn to know His Voice and run away from strange voices.

THEME: Remembrance of Victory - 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 & Romans 8:37

This preaching reminds us that the battle is not ours, but God's.

1. The battle belongs to God (2 Chronicles 20:15)
God tells us not to be afraid of any great multitude or challenge in front of us. When we remember that He fought for us before, we find strength to trust Him again.

2. Our position is to stand still and trust (2 Chronicles 20:17)
Our victory is not by fighting in the flesh, but by positioning ourselves in prayer, worship and faith. God does the fighting while we stand in faith.

3. We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37)
Because Christ already won the victory on the cross, we are not just conquerors, we are MORE than conquerors. We don't fight FOR victory, we fight FROM victory.

Remember your past victories. If God did it before, He will do it again.

Scripture Reference: Judges 1:1-2 (ICB)

Revelation:
Have you ever had a day when everything felt difficult? For instance, tough school assignments may make you nervous. Israel faced a big battle and needed God's help. Before they fought, they asked God who should go first. God was teaching them that when troubles come they should praise Him first.

Praise reminds us how great He is, how much He loves us and that He is able and willing to help us. Praise turns into faith and fills us with courage.

The enemy tries to steal your praise because praising God brings His peace and power into your situation. When praise go first, God goes before you.
