John Wesley the great revivalist said, “The real value of a thing is the price it will bring in eternity.” This is quite a sobering statement.
Jeffrey Wilson said, “The future life only brings to fruition the seed that is sown here.” In other words, if there is no seed of eternal life sown here on earth, it can never germinate in heaven. As a farmer, I understand that you can only reap what you sow. If you sow nothing you will reap nothing. Jesus told the parable of the sower who sowed the seed of the Word. We must be sowers and sow the gospel message. Our effort must be in sowing the seed that will bring in a harvest of souls for eternity.
