Daily Word Devotion 📜✨

I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.
—Ezekiel 36:23

God can and will use us even though we are not worthy vessels for him to use. Scripture gives us many examples of people God used who did not come up to his moral and holy requirements — for example, think a little about Samson or most of the other Judges! God will be revealed as the holy, mighty, and awesome God that he is. So let's not be unwilling tools in his hands. Instead, let's offer ourselves to him for his service and his glory.

Prayer;
Holy Father, make me pure and holy, not just by your grace, but also in my actions, words, and thoughts. Create a clean heart in me and renew a righteous spirit in me by the power of your Holy Spirit. May my life be a holy sacrifice of praise to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Teachings about prayer learning from the book of Luke

What, How and Who to pray for:

Pray as you commit yourself to God’s work: “when Jesus also was baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened” (3:21).
•Start the day with prayer: “And when it was day, he departed and went to a desolate place” (4:42). Mark 1:35 tells us Jesus went to this place to pray.
•Push away from the crowds to pray: “Great crowds gathered to hear him . . . but he would withdraw to desolate places and pray” (5:15-16).
•Pray for people to invest in, just as Jesus did before calling His disciples: “he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God” (6:12).
•Pray thanksgiving for food: “And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them” (9:16).
•Spend time praying alone: “Now it happened that as he was praying alone. . . ” (9:18).
•Take others with you on a prayer retreat: “he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray” (9:28).
•Simply rejoice in prayer: “In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I thank you, Father” (10:21).
•Pray, and then teach others how to pray: “Now Jesus was praying in a certain place . . . And he said to them, ‘When you pray, say . . .’” (11:1-2).
•Pray for others under spiritual attack: “Simon, Simon, Satan demanded to have you . . . but I have prayed for you” (22:31-32).
•Cry out to God in your grief: “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me” (22:42).
•Pray for God’s will to be done: “Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done” (22:42).
•Pray for your enemies: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (23:34).
•Pray when you face death: “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” (23:46).
•Pray blessings over Jesus’ followers: “Then he led them as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.(24:50)

Daily Word Devotion 📜✨

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
—1 John 4:16

We can be sure that God loves us. He wants us to live in and be blessed by his love. That love is more than just the grace that reaches us when we are saved. God's love extends through us. His love is redemptive in our loving behaviors to others. His presence is seen in our loving attitudes and deeds. God wants his love to be shared by us to others. In this way, his love blesses us when we receive it and also when we share it!

Prayer;
Father in heaven, I rely on your love. I cannot imagine my life without it; I would be completely lost. However, I know you love me Father. I am confident about my future, full of joy in this moment, and standing on tiptoe until your love is fully realized in your presence at Jesus' coming. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus' name I thank you. Amen.

Blessed Family,

Please note, our regular Sunday service will be resuming this coming Sunday, 07 February 2021, as Religious gatherings have now been permitted. The safety health protocols will still be practised, that is wearing Facemasks, screening every congregant and sanitizing.
Service will start at 09:15 till 11:00, Do note that no one without a Facemask will be allowed to attend service.
