🔥 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁… 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆.

When staying comfortable becomes more important than being obedient, we may find ourselves protecting the very thing that is keeping us from God's purpose.

God hasn't called us all to look the same or fit into the same mould. He created each of us uniquely—and He can use exactly who He made you to be to reach the people around you.

How do we live like Christ when following Him gets difficult?

This Sunday, Jonathan brought a challenging twofold message from **Colossians 3** and a prophetic word for the Body of Christ.

𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐄.

The enemy wants you to quit.
𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞.

💥 "Our lives have become the stage for God's glory, so we don't quit—we pray and we believe."

Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 1:6–11 that our suffering is never wasted. Every trial is an opportunity to trust the God who has delivered us, is delivering us, and will deliver us again.

Being pressed doesn't mean you've been abandoned.
Being broken doesn't mean you've been defeated.
In Christ, we endure.

🗣️ 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 🗣️

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue..." — Proverbs 18:21

Our words are never neutral.

Faith speaks. Fear speaks. Doubt speaks. The question is: what are we speaking?

This week's message reminds us that God's Word is life, and as we fill our hearts with His truth, our mouths begin to speak His promises instead of our circumstances.

"We believe, therefore we speak." — 2 Corinthians 4:13

No matter what you're facing today, choose to align your thoughts, your heart, and your words with what God says. Speak faith. Speak hope. Speak life.

What you've been saying over your situation matters. It's time to speak what God says.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱?

We all have coping mechanisms—but not all of them bring peace.

Jonathan reminded us in this message that peace isn't found in having all the answers. It's found in surrendering to the One who does. When we stop trying to sit on the throne of our own lives and put Jesus first, everything changes.

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7

✨ 𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 ✨

Everyone wants peace when life falls apart.

But what if peace isn't something you find in the storm...

What if it's something you build 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 the storm arrives?

This Sunday, we continued our 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥 series in Colossians 2:6-23, where Paul reminds us that 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.

We explored powerful stories of ordinary people whose extraordinary faith sustained them through impossible circumstances—from a man facing the final chapter of his life with unwavering hope, to Desmond Doss, whose relationship with Christ shaped every step he took on the battlefield.

Paul also gives a timely warning:

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy..." (Colossians 2:8)

Our world is full of voices promising spiritual shortcuts, secret knowledge, and a "better" way to God.

But the answer has never changed.

📖 Read your Bible.
🙏 Walk with Jesus.
⛪ Be planted in His Church.

✨ 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔 ✨

"Christ in you, the hope of glory." — Colossians 1:27

This Sunday, our service began and ended in prayer—a beautiful reminder that we were never meant to walk this journey alone. We are called to pray for one another, encourage one another, and strengthen one another in Christ.

Jonathan also reminded us of the incredible truth found in Colossians 1:16-17: everything is held together in Christ. From the vastness of the universe to the smallest particles of creation, Jesus is not only the Creator—He is the Sustainer.

But Paul's message doesn't stop there.

The mystery once hidden has now been revealed:

✨ Christ in you.

If Christ lives in us, then every believer has a ministry. Ministry isn't reserved for pastors or church leaders. The role of church leadership is to equip the body of Christ, and God has placed each of us on a mission field—our homes, workplaces, schools, neighbourhoods, and communities.

As we serve, we're called to do it the way Jesus taught us—with love. The words of 1 Corinthians 13 aren't just for weddings; they're the blueprint for how we treat one another every day.

May we leave this week knowing that Christ is in us, Christ goes before us, and Christ works through us.

👑✨ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 ✨👑

Who is Jesus?

Not simply a teacher.
Not merely a prophet.
Not just a historical figure.

Paul declares that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the Creator of all things, the One who holds all things together, and the Head of the Church.

In a world full of competing priorities and distractions, Colossians calls us back to a simple but life-changing truth:

👑 Christ is above all.

As we celebrated Father's Day, we were reminded of the importance of honouring our earthly fathers and parents. More importantly, we were challenged to honour God, our Heavenly Father, not just on special occasions, but every day.

Too often we treat God as an option—something to fit into our schedules when it suits us. Yet Jesus, our greatest example, never treated His Father or His purpose on earth as optional.

The question isn't simply, "Who is Jesus?"
The question is:

➡️ Does Christ truly have first place in my life?
➡️ Am I honouring God with my time, priorities, and decisions?
➡️ Is He central, or merely an option?

We kicked off our 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥 series in Colossians by asking a simple but important question:

❓ *Are we following the true Gospel?*

It's easy to get caught up in debates, opinions, and distractions—but if we're not careful, we can miss the very message that transforms lives.

Paul reminds the Colossian church that the Gospel is not just something we believe... it's something that bears fruit. 🌱

💛 Faith in Christ
💛 Love for God's people
💛 Hope anchored in heaven

Healthy roots produce healthy fruit.

And healthy roots don't grow in isolation. We need one another. We need community. We need people who will encourage us, challenge us, pray with us, and help carry our burdens when the road gets tough.

This week, take a moment to reflect:

🌱 What am I rooted in?
🌱 What fruit is growing in my life?
🌱 Who is helping me stay on the path Jesus has called me to walk?

"The gospel... is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world." — Colossians 1:6
