2015 Athlone Ladies Day 2015 Athlone Church of Christ Ladies Day is a combined event with Bokmakierie. This is an annual Churches of Christ Ladies Day event for ladies only.

Okay ladies, we are almost there! Two more sleeps and then it will be the 2015 Annual Ladies Day being hosted by Athlone and Bokmakierie. We are so excited to have you all here on Saturday as we have a blessed programme planned.

Dear Ladies
Just another reminder as there are now only 11 days left before the 2015 Ladies Day @ Athlone kicks off.
We would like to make our Ladies Day a socially uplifting program and for this reason are asking that each lady attending the Ladies Day on 24 October to please bring along ONE of the following items
1. A bar of soap or
2. A face cloth or
3. A toothbrush or
4. A Toothpaste or
5. A pack of Sanitary towels or
6. An Underarm.

We will be placing collection boxes at different areas on that day. Thereafter, once all donations have been collected we will then make up toiletry gift bags and donate it to ladies who are less privileged. The gift bags will be marked: "Donated to you by the Ladies of the Churches of Christ in the Western Cape."

Dear All

The ladies day committee met last week and have requested that due to space capacity and limited seating if mothers with young children could kindly try to make arrangements to leave their children at home or in the care of a guardian and not bring them along to the Ladies Day on the 24 October 2015. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Dear All

By now we should have received all the nominations back regarding the name of the "Woman of Honour" from our respective sister congregations. If your congregation have not yet done so then please send the names to Sis Roslyn Hendricks @ [email protected] as soon as possible. Here are some of the criteria regarding the nominations
> A woman who was/is an inspiration of a hardworking and inspiring woman of God.
> A Woman living or deceased who has impacted your congregation in a positive way
> Since the topic is a woman of history, we are looking for someone who has been involved in the Lord’s church for at least 15 years in your specific congregation and in your community.
> It does not have to be the evangelist’s wife, it can also be an ordinary person who has done exceptional work in the congregation and who has been an inspiration to others.

26 days left before the 2015 Athlone Ladies Day at the Athlone Church of Christ building. Our registration and RSVP period is now finally closed due to catering and space capacity reasons. It is going to be a wonderful event with over 300 ladies who have indicated their attendance from far and near.

Dear Ladies

Thank you to all those who have registered and RSVP with us to indicate your attendance. We appreciate your support.

To all those who have not yet registered kindly note that the deadline to RSVP for the LADIES DAY on the 24 Oct is now close.

Due to catering purpose and space capacity it will be difficult for us to accommodate those ladies and visitors who did not register with us.

We will only be able to cater for those who have registered.
