If you want to burn for God publicly, you must surrender to Him privately. No fire survives without fuel. No calling survives without devotion and no believer thrives without quiet time. Your fire doesn’t die because God left you…It dies because you stopped feeding it.
Quiet time is where the flame is stirred.
The strength of a believer is not found in public moments of fire but in private moments of surrender.
1. Jesus withdrew daily to be alone with the Father.
In mark 1:35 it says that “He went to a desolate place and prayed.”
2. The psalms declare to “Be still, and know that I am God.”(Psalm 46:10) Stillness is not inactivity, it’s where God becomes clearer than your fears, doubts, or distractions.
3. God doesn’t hide from hungry hearts.
Quiet time is where He meets the one who seeks “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jer29:13)
4. “Go into your room… and pray to your Father in secret.” (Matt 6:6) Secret devotion creates public strength. The reward of quiet time is a life anchored and unshaken.
Quiet time satisfies the deepest part of you.
Nothing else can fill the longing only God was meant to fill.
The Fire Stays When You Stay Close. The flame inside you doesn’t die from lack of calling, it dies from lack of communion.
When you give yourself to devotion, Fear will lose its grip, The gift wakes up, Your mind clears, Your spirit strengthens, Your purpose becomes sharp again.
Give Him your first moments,
and He will give you His flame.
