Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society FOCAS is a 501c3 Charitable Org. in Central IL. We use fishing to spread the gospel. We also enjoy fellowship practicing the one another's described in scripture.

In 2018 FOCAS received its 501c3 Non-Profit Religious Organization led by the Board of Directors. We invest in our local community by coming alongside others to take individuals with disabilities fishing, getting our next generation youth excited about Jesus and the sport of fishing. FOCAS Origins

FOCAS was founded in 1983 by a handful of Christian fisherman who desired to worship and serve as disciples of Christ. Among this group was Jimmy Houston, Chris Houston, Hank Parker, Homer Circle, Al Lindner, Ray Scott and others. They wanted the ministry to serve as a bond between all fishermen. A ministry that would use the sport of fishing as a tool to make sport fishermen into fishers of men. FOCAS meetings and devotionals were typically conducted by the Pros at the professional BASS Tournaments.

We were awarded the Jim Curtis Award from Camp Big Sky this year. Thanks to all of our members that make this happen every year. Many smiling faces yesterday.
