The ministry of the congregation emphisizes following Christ in daily life while calling members to share the compassion of Christ with neighbours, near and far. Crosshill Mennonite Church began in 1949 as a Sunday School outreach from Mapleview Mennonite Church. In 1970 Crosshill established its own membership and congregational identity. The congregation met for worship in the former Boyd's Presbyterian church until 2006 when the congregation completed a new facility that provides accessible space for more congregational and community activities.
