Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are divorcing after nearly a decade of marriage. The country singer filed on May 18, listing May 9 as their date of separation. The split comes after years of public ups and downs, including Jelly Roll's admission of infidelity.

The couple had been open about their Christian faith. Bunnie, a former es**rt, said on the TODAY show, "God has always had His hand on our lives, but we strayed from Him for the longest time". She called them "works in progress" and insisted, "We are not role models. But if God can work through us, He can work through you".

At the Grammys in February, Jelly Roll praised Jesus and declared, "Jesus is for everybody. Jesus is not owned by one political party. Jesus is Jesus, and anybody can have a relationship with Him". But just months later, their marriage crumbled.

This is a painful reminder that faith is a journey, not a destination. Being a Christian does not make us perfect. It makes us forgiven. Pray for this couple. And pray for all marriages, that they would be rooted in Christ, not in feelings.
