TikTok influencer Alexis, formerly known as "Alex Reads Tarot" and famous in the "WitchTok" community with nearly 1 million followers, shocked her audience by deleting all her occult content and announcing that Jesus Christ has saved her life.

In a farewell video posted to her platforms, Alexis revealed that after spending the past year praying and reflecting, her faith in Jesus had become the most important thing in her life, making it impossible to continue offering tarot sessions.

Former youth pastor David Vander Meer was charged with the 2006 murder and insurance fraud of his wife, Bernadette Vander Meer, after allegedly pushing her 1,200 feet off Angels Landing in Zion National Park.

Friends of Bernadette were appalled to see his alleged mistress seated next to him at the memorial service. Before the fatal hike in 2006, David Vander Meer had raised their life insurance policies to $600,000 and was allegedly involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl from his church's youth group.

He later married that same girl and eventually divorced her. Although the 2006 death was initially ruled an accident, the case was reopened last year after a senior pastor came forward with new details about the suspected murder and the grooming of the underage church member.

Vander Meer was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Las Vegas in June. Shortly after being booked into the Clark County Detention Center, he was discovered with self-inflicted wounds and died in police custody.
