Gabriel and Kristin, both from Texas, met in college and were both called to missions during their time in campus ministry. After marrying and welcoming their son, they followed that call to Santiago, Chile.
It was during a 3-month internship in Chile that God made it clear—the need for workers on university campuses was real.
Today, they are investing in students through Conexion, helping them build a relationship with Jesus and raising up disciples who make disciples.
Their vision? That these students wouldn’t just be reached—but sent. A generation mobilized to take the gospel to the nations.

There’s a growing hunger for meaning, identity, and belonging among the next generation. And in many places, without a clear and authentic encounter with Jesus, that search is leading them toward secularism, alternative spiritualities, and other belief systems.
This is why gospel access matters.

• Pray for the Flores family as they prepare to welcome a new baby this September, and their son as he begins 1st grade in Chile.

Gabriel and Kristin Flores, along with their family, are serving in Santiago, Chile—investing in the next generation and advancing gospel access through university ministry.
They partner with Conexion, supporting four university groups across the city through weekly gatherings, leadership training, outreach, and one-on-one discipleship.
They also serve at Iglesia Viva, a church plant in Santiago. There Gabriel preaches and leads as youth pastor, and Kristin serves in children’s ministry.
Through both the campus and the local church, they are helping establish the Church and raise up leaders who will carry the gospel forward.

Join us in praying for a new church plant in Providencia, a district in Santiago, Chile—a city of 7.5 million people.
Josh and Mayra Renfro, area directors, are leading this initiative to establish the first Assemblies of God church in Providencia. Land has been purchased, construction has begun, and they are continuing to raise funds to complete the project.
This is a step toward establishing the Church in a place where more people need the opportunity to experience an accurate representation of Jesus.

Yanira has endured deep loss and ongoing health challenges after getting sick from contaminated water as a child.
As a mother of three in Guatemala, she was forced to choose between paying for clean water or her child’s education.
But at a recent ChildHope outreach, she received a water filter.
Now, she no longer has to buy clean water—and for the first time, she can afford to send her youngest child to school.
Compassion opened the door for gospel access, and her story is changing.
