Happening this coming Saturday.
We encourage ALL of our Corps Members to participate in events for Saturday and Sunday.
* Tickets still available for the 5pm Saturday Supper. $10 each. Children no charge, but should accompanied by an adult.
CALL JOAN AT 709-730-1146 to reserve your ticket as soon as possible.
** No charge for the 6:30 pm family movie. This movie night is for anyone, not just those of our Corps, so feel free to bring a friend or two. Free drinks and snacks provided. (Special thanks to Sobeys and Circle K for sponsoring most of our snacks this year. )
*** Our talent Extravaganza for Sunday evening at 6:30 pm is still looking for anyone who has a talent they'd be willing to demonstrate. Perhaps you bake, quilt, do crafts, build things, sing, play music etc.... if you're good at it, we want to taste, see or hear about it. Please contact Ross Daugherty to let him know you will be participating.
Lets make this years Corps Celebration the biggest and best we've ever had. Come out and celebrate our Corps as we continue to celebrate the start of year #46 in the community, and for those who have not done so yet, it's a great opportunity to meet our New Corps Officers and their children.

CORPS EXTRAVAGANZA WEEKEND 2023
ST. John's West Corps
Schedule of Events
** We are inviting everyone, young and young at heart to join us for an unforgettable weekend as we celebrate our Corps and kick off our fall Ministry Season together. **
SAT, SEPT 23rd
2 pm - Fun and Games on the back parking lot of the church. Join us, young and old for an afternoon of fun.
5 pm - A "Food Truck Party" supper in the YP hall. Tickets are $10 and are available from Joan Randell. Funds will aid our YP Corps programming for this year.
6:30 pm - Movie on the big screen. Join us for a family movie in the Sanctuary on the big screen. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Movie is a family movie for all ages.
SUNDAY, SEPT 24th
11 am - Our Kids club youth and leaders will be highlighting our Kid's Club "Food Truck Party" program, showcasing the many biblical lessons and songs learned from last year.
6:30 pm - The West Extravaganza. An evening highlighting the numerous talents of various members of our Corps, both young and old alike. ** If you have a talent to showcase on this night, please contact Ross Daugherty to be added to our talent list. Talents can be anything you are good at. Doesn't have to be musical or voice. Can be baking, recitations, skits etc.... If you're good at it, we want to see, taste or hear about it
