Friends Of Accion Education, homes, and churches for people in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico. Friends of Accion, Inc., helps with coordination and accountability.

Accion provides access to education for youth at the Merida Student Houses (CEM), Men and Women, and the Mayan Children’s Village (VIM); partners with Mayan communities in building churches and homes; and provides emergency relief in tough times. Congratulations to our third graduate this year (visit Friends Of Accion for others) from Women's CEM, Amira Maricruz Mex (on left in photo). She completed a year internship in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, finishing the official Licenciado degree. This follows four years of coursework leading to the Licenciatura degree one year ago. Farewell, Amira!
