God’s Church isn’t just a building—it’s where His glory dwells among His people.
When we think of “church,” we often think of the building. But Christ points us to something deeper: the Church is the body of believers.

“But he was speaking about the temple of his body.” – John 2:21

神的教会不仅是一座建筑——乃是祂的荣耀居住在祂子民中间的地方。
当我们想到"教会"时，常常想到的是建筑。但基督指引我们认识的更深：教会是基督的身体

Jesus cleared out the temple not for anger's sake, but for love's sake—love for God's glory.

“Take these things away; do not make my Father’s house a house of trade.” – John 2:16

耶稣洁净圣殿并非出于怒气，而是出于爱—为着神的荣耀。

Jesus didn’t stand by when the temple lost its purpose—He took action. As His followers, we too must take part in renewing the Church, protecting its witness, and living out its mission.

“Zeal for your house will consume me.” – John 2:17

当圣殿失去其使命时，耶稣并没有袖手旁观—祂采取了行动。作为祂的跟随者，我们也必须参与更新教会、保护其见证并活出其使命。

UEC Pasay's 51st Year Anniversary
Growing in Christ: Living as His Body.

It was a powerful morning of reflection, commitment, and gratitude as we look back on God's faithfulness through the decades.

Rev. Florentino Lim brought God’s Word with a challenging and heartfelt message, “You Must Love the Church of the Lord,” from John 2:12-21. We were reminded of the sacred purpose of the church and our personal responsibility to honor and serve as part of Christ’s body.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this momentous occasion! May we continue to grow deeper in Christ and live out His love in Pasay and beyond.
