Thank you to the organizers of the Hindu Heritage Festival for an opportunity to spend the day watching children colouring and learning about Swami Vivekananda who passed through Alberta in 1893 on his inaugural voyage to the West to attend the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago.

Drop by Sunday, August 10 11am-5pm at our tent stall at the free Hindu Heritage festival celebration with food and entertainment for the whole family. Come by and do some colouring with us for a few hours and share some insights about your experience. Only 50% chance of a drizzle!

Note the location is at the Bhartiya Temple as our Swami Vivekananda Hall is being restored from fire damage in the building.
