The Illuminating Collective

The Illuminating Collective We are a sanctuary for those ready to transmute pain into purpose through integrative healing, sacred ceremony, and community connection.

Bridging science and spirit, we offer transformational programs to our heroes and all who seek deep transformation.

You read the books. You went to the seminars. It's still here.

That's not a personal failing. That's integration missing. Jessie names three things that decide whether this work holds:

Let go of the story. Not what happened but your grip on it. Stay attached and everything contracts.

Empty your cup. Tools help you function. They don't reach the place it started. So it repeats.

Get vulnerable. Shame lives and festers in secrecy. Say the thing out loud and it loses its grip and it allows other people to find themselves in it.

Ceremony opens the door. Integration is what you walk through it with.

"Sound architect." That's the job.

Brent Weiss — one half of Cloud People with his twin brother — scores people's experiences live while they're deep in the medicine.

No setlist. No playlist. Every ceremony is different, so the music is built in real time: reading the room, attuning to the field, choosing each sound and vocal inflection based on what's actually happening.

One of a kind, every single time.

His brain scans no longer show damage from his TBI. That's his account, not a guarantee, but real research is starting to back up what he's describing.

Psilocybin binds to TrkB receptors, driving new neural growth independent of the classic psychedelic pathway.

A 2026 study found it reduced neuroinflammation and restored damaged brain signaling after injury in animal models. And in an actual study of veterans with TBI, a psilocybin retreat led to measurably normalized brain activity on EEG scans alongside real gains in mood and cognition.

One person's outcome isn't proof for every brain. But the science is catching up to his story.

By the time ceremony begins, much of the work has already happened.

Our ib0gaine cohorts begin preparing together two months before retreat.

Over those eight weeks, strangers become a community. Trust builds. Walls come down. And people begin doing the work they came here to do long before the medicine enters the picture.

So when they arrive, they aren't walking into ceremony alone.

The medicine matters. But it’s not the whole story.

Preparation. Community. Ceremony. Integration.

That’s the work.

We could fill every retreat with more people. We don't.

Something gets lost once a group grows past a certain size, and what gets lost is exactly the thing you came for.

Our retreats hold only a handful of participants. Not because we can't take more, but because real support has a limit. Past it, someone always slips through.

In a group this size, every guide knows your name, your story, and what you walked in carrying.

That's not a marketing line. It's a ceiling we hold on purpose.

“I've always been a do-it-yourself guy."

Charles spent eight weeks on weekly prep calls before ever sitting with the medicine. What could've been nerve-wracking turned into something he was genuinely looking forward to.

"I know they've got my back. So I can just sit into the experience and work with the medicine, without distraction."

Preparation isn't a formality. It's half the work.

Before anything else happens, we look at your heart.

Ib0gaine can affect the heart’s electrical rhythm, so every intake starts with an EKG and bloodwork, not paperwork. We’re checking your QT interval, the time it takes your heart to reset between beats, along with electrolytes like potassium and magnesium that can affect that same rhythm.

Some conditions mean ib0gaine isn’t safe for you, and we’ll tell you honestly if that’s the case. This isn’t a formality. It’s what lets you be fully present in ceremony instead of carrying an unknown risk into it.

Meet Dr. Fernando Vega, family practice physician and medical oversight for our ib0gaine work.

He’s here for both sides: the medical and the spiritual.

On the cardiac concerns everyone’s heard about, he points to a study published last week: 19,000 people who took ib0gaine, 3 deaths. Of the 8,000 with no history of substance use disorder: zero.

Every participant monitored. Every parameter watched. That’s the standard.

Army Special Forces. Nearly a decade with the US Marshals. A PTSD diagnosis in 2019.

Years of stress and hypervigilance had stacked on top of each other. Then breathwork opened a door.

What began as part of Frank’s own healing journey became something he felt called to share with others.

Today, Frank serves as a breathwork facilitator with The Illuminating Collective, holding space for people from every background to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore what breathwork can open within them.

"They're mirrors back to myself. Helping them, I'm still helping myself. It's a continual healing process."

🌿 Sometimes the path inward begins with a single breath.

One person says yes.
And it doesn't stop with them.

The mother and or father starts living a different life. The relationship with her kids changes. Those kids grow up to parent differently. And their kids after them.

The line goes on. It cascades. It's endless.

This isn't managing symptoms. This is a family lineage changing course for the rest of time and ancestral wounds that have never been touched finally getting the chance to close.

That's the medicine. Right there in the ripple.
