Today marks the beginning of the two-day 𝐀𝐑𝐎 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, an annual gathering of leaders from the different religious organizations under the 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (ARO), rooted in the practice of Ignatian discernment. This retreat serves as a faith-centered alternative to the traditional election process—one that views leadership not merely as a position, but as a calling.

With this year’s theme, “𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒎: 𝑰 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑳𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏” (𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒉 29:12), our leaders enter a sacred space of reflection, prayer, and communal discernment. It is a time to listen deeply—to God, to one another, and to the needs of the communities they are called to serve—as they discern who among them are best suited for leadership in the coming year.

We humbly ask for your prayers as they journey through these days. May they learn to listen well, pray sincerely, and respond faithfully to God’s call.

You are more than a campus missionary to us. You are a kuya, a mentor, a prayer warrior, and a living testimony of God’s grace. In ways you may not always see, you have touched our lives so deeply. Through your sacrifices, your patience, and your genuine care, you have shown us what it truly means to follow Jesus.

Last February 28 was a beautiful moment for us, together with fellow students from the Education Academic Organization who joined us in this meaningful fellowship. It was a perfect reminder that love goes beyond words. Our AGAPE fellowship highlighted a love that listens, serves, and stays—seen in every smile, every conversation, and every moment we shared together. ✨

May we carry this verse in our lives and always remember: “We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19 💚

Thank you for showing up, for listening, for serving, and for staying. May we continue to carry this kind of love wherever we go. ✨
