Từ 02 thành viên là những giáo viên ban đầu, đến nay đạo tràng đã trở thành tập hợp "tùy duyên" của hàng trăm Phật tử đến từ nhiều ngành nghề giai tầng khác nhau trong xã hội. Mục đích tôn chỉ của đạo tràng là đi đến các chùa vùng sâu vùng xa để tu tập và gieo duyên vào mỗi chù nhật hàng tuần (và các ngày nghỉ lễ), đem pháp âm niệm Phật đến với tất cả chúng sanh có nhân duyên, mong tăng trưởng nhân lành cho mình cho người...
Hằng ngày vào các buổi tối, các Phật tử cũng cộng tu tại nhà Phật tử trong đạo tràng, hành trì pháp môn niệm Phật, mong cầu vãng sanh Tây phương Cực lạc. Ngoài việc tu tập chánh hạnh, các Phật tử cũng thực hành tu tập trợ hạnh như hoạt động từ thiện, phóng sanh, tu bổ chùa chiền, trợ duyên hướng dẫn cho các đạo tràng còn khó khăn, tụng kinh siêu độ, lập pháp đàn Dược Sư, đảnh lễ ngũ bách danh Quán Thế Âm Bồ Tát, thực hành Tam Bộ Nhất Bái, ấn tống kinh sách, ghi âm kinh sách Phật Giáo...
Được hình thành trên cơ sở bình đẳng, hòa hợp, nhờ sự gia hộ của chư Phật, bồ tát, chư thiên, long thần hộ pháp mà những hoạt động này chưa từng ngừng nghỉ từ năm 2002 đến nay. About Tùy Duyên Dharma Assembly
From its humble beginnings with just two founding members—both schoolteachers—Tùy Duyên has grown into a "spontaneous gathering" of hundreds of lay Buddhists from diverse social backgrounds and professions. The guiding purpose of the assembly is to visit remote and underserved temples every Sunday (and public holidays) to engage in Buddhist practice and to sow wholesome karmic seeds. Through collective recitation of the Buddha's name (Amitābha), we aspire to bring the Dharma's sound to all sentient beings with affinity, while nurturing blessings for both ourselves and others. Each evening, members of the assembly also gather at fellow practitioners’ homes to practice the Pure Land method of mindful Buddha recitation (niệm Phật), with sincere aspiration for rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. In addition to main practices, the assembly also engages in supportive practices (trợ hạnh) such as:
Charitable outreach and almsgiving,
Animal liberation (phóng sanh),
Assisting in temple restoration and upkeep,
Supporting new or struggling Dharma assemblies,
Reciting sutras for the deceased,
Organizing Medicine Buddha ceremonies,
Performing the 500-name prostration to Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva,
Practicing Three Steps One Bow (Tam Bộ Nhất Bái) pilgrimages,
Printing and distributing Dharma books and scriptures,
