Introduction
Multiplying Disciples, Expanding His church is a phrase that expresses the vision of World Partners USA. The training, coaching and accountability networks developed through the Key training events are an important part of fulfilling this vision statement. The Key Training event began as a leadership training program for nationals who were invited to attend a four-week training course held in Keystone, South Dakota, USA. The chief instructor, Richard Greene, developed this curriculum under the title Church Multiplication Training Ministry (CMTM) and has used it in his extensive ministry throughout Africa. Under the new name of Key Training, the training continues, providing leaders with a philosophy of ministry that includes vision, values and the development of a step-by-step strategy. The goal of each training event is for participants to leave with a plan to make disciples in his or her own cultural setting, who in turn make other disciples out to the fourth generation. The training includes the concept of allowing groups of disciples to organize themselves into local congregations and to express their newly found love for Christ by serving in the community. The World Partners USA staff, serving in the various countries of the world, is looking for potential leaders for this training. Staff members also serve as coaches to those who implement the Key Training philosophy. As clusters of disciples are formed, churches will be established and the Kingdom of God will grow and be strengthened. While we hope each on who participates in Key Concepts event finds the teaching refreshing and spiritually challenging, our greatest desire is that each one will find new avenues of ministry opening up under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As the Lord prepares the way before us, we want to be ready to do our part in multiplying disciples and expanding His Church.
