Dear People of God,

As the day draws to a close and the evening settles around us, we invite you to come away awhile from the noise, the demands, and the busyness of life. Come and simply be — in the presence of the One who knows you completely and loves you unconditionally.

Tonight, we gather as a community of faith, united in prayer, growing together in our walk with God. For it is in these sacred moments of collective worship that we are reminded of who we are and whose we are.

The Psalmist declares in Psalm 126: "When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them.' The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."

Beloved, the Lord has done great things for us.

Even in the seasons when tears have been our companion, when the road has seemed long and the burden heavy — God has been faithful. Even when we have gone out weeping, carrying seed to sow in uncertain ground, He has promised we will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with us.

Whether you come tonight full of joy or heavy with tears — whether you come confident in faith or wrestling with doubt — you are welcome here. Bring your whole self. God meets us exactly where we are.

Come.
