Christian Brigades is an international non-profit organization that provides life changing experiences to people of all ages. We particularly offer volunteer opportunities for those who strive to expand their knowledge and passion for underserved medicine in developing countires, while learning a new culture and sharing

the love of God with those who most need it. Each year, over 2,000 patients are attended receiving 6 months worth of medication, hygiene supplies, and evangelistic material. Christian Brigades is now in the process of building the “A.C Nava Medical Center” that will provide medical personnel for emergencies, surgeries, and primary care. For 6 years, Christian Brigades, has taken teams of volunteer professionals, community leaders, students, pastors and ministers to meet the healthcare & spiritual needs of patients in Honduras. 📍Just 4 days ago Colombia was hit with a 7.4 earthquake where over 12,000 homes were destroyed and more than 74,000 families are currently displaced.

📍On June 24, 2026 — Venezuela was hit with a 7.2 earthquake where 80% of the buildings in La Guaria, collapsed. As of August, more than 6,300 people have been reported dead, about 73,300 were hospitalized and tens of thousands still remain missing.

On behalf of the Department of Social Assistance of the Apostolic Assembly and Christian Brigades, and our local partners in Colombia & Venezuela, we were able to bring relief kits with basic household & food staples to 250 families. More than the items they received, they were grateful that we took the time to hear them out, pray for them and minister to their souls.

Thank you for supporting our relief efforts to reach where the need is greatest, bring hope, and empower! This would not have been possible without your prayers & contributions.

Please keep Venezuela in your prayers as families continue to look for their loved one’s bodies under the rubble’s to bury them in peace.

Also pray for our relief team, as they prepare to support families affected from yesterday’s earthquake in Colombia.

🙏🏼We want to thank our relief team & local church partners for helping us coordinate all the logistics to deliver emergency relief kits to 250 families.

Thank you Bishop Sam Rojas for leading the Department of Social Assistance with excellence but most importantly for so much love & being hands on to visit & minister to the affected families.

We also want to thank our Missionaries in Colombia David & Martha Paez - Valero & our local partnering church in Venezuela, Pastor Martin Dudamel for helping us coordinate the truck & assemble all the kits.

Last but not least, we want to thank Sis.Olga Rivera & Pastor Ismael & Sis.Sarahi Montoya for always being ready to say yes to the call!

Our work in Venezuela would have not been made possible without each of them, but also every pastor, church & individual who contributed financially & prayed.

🙏🏼Our team was able to pray for rescuer teams helping find missing family members under the rubble.

The government is giving them just a few more days before they demo & remove all the rubble.

Our hearts were broken to hear such devastating news, but as we prayed for them, tears of peace & comfort fell upon these families🤍

📍It’s been 1 month since Venezuela was affected by the earthquake, and families are still displaced without a stable home, food or water.

Nevertheless, through our church & other NGO’s the Lord is bringing the help they need!

It was a blessing for us to visit a camp of 250 families this week in La Guaira, to provide food & water but most importantly prayer & hope in the name Jesus.

They were grateful that we took the time to connect with them, talk to them, to hug them & bring peace into their hearts.

THANK YOU for being part of this work 🙏🏼 Your prayers & donations allowed us to plant seeds of the gospel in every family we were able to serve.
