Habits of the Heart Womens Bible Study Begins Sept. 7
Habits of the Heart Bible study is a ministry to women at ZF and the surrounding community. We meet at Zionsville Fellowship Church on Wednesday mornings from 9:15-11:15 AM and in the evenings from 7:00-8:15 PM. Our time together will vary but can include video and live teaching, singing, and intergenerational small group discussions. Our firs
t semester of study will be in 1 and 2 Thessalonians, The Hope of Salvation, and will begin on September 7th. The second semester begins January 4, and we will dig into the Book of Revelation using the Knowing the Bible study guide. The cost for the entire year is $30, which includes all study materials. Have you experienced the joy of receiving a letter from someone you dearly love? Maybe the letter came from a loved one you haven’t heard from in a long time? The believers of the suffering church in Thessalonica must have felt this same way upon hearing from the apostle Paul. He introduced them to the gospel of Christ and shared life with them before being torn away due to persecution. Even though these warmly-written pastoral letters were written nearly 2,000 years ago, they still encourage, instruct, and offer words of both hope and warning to the church today.
