*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL*

*CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH*

Sunday, September 24th
Pastor Chris

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all (Ephesians 1:22-23).

Christ and the Church are one. He is the head and we, the Church, are His body. We’re inextricably one with Him. In Acts 9:3-5, for example, we have a clear reference of the union of Christ and the Church in the dialogue between the Lord and Saul of Tarsus, who later became Paul.

That passage needs, “And as he (Saul) journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks” (Acts 9:3-5).

Prior to his conversion, Saul wreaked havoc in the early Church and persecuted Christians everywhere, until he had an encounter with the Lord, who intercepted him and asked, “...Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me”(Acts 9:4). The Lord intimately identifies Himself with the Church. An offence or evil committed against the Church is committed against Jesus. The Lord takes it personal because we’re of the same stock.

He’s the Vine, and we—the Church—are the branches. He’s the head of the Church: “And he is the head of the body, the church...” (Colossians 1:18). The head and the body have the same name, authority and identity; together we’re called Christ!

We’ve been baptized into the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:27 says, “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” 1 Corinthians 12:13 says, “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body...and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” The Church, which is the body, doesn’t answer a name that’s different from that of the head.

This is to help you see who you are, where you are, and what you have; you’re one with Christ. When He was raised from the dead, you were raised up together with Him. Now that He’s seated on the throne, you’re seated together with Him in the place of dominion, glory and authority. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Blessed Father, how awesome you are! Thank you for my inextricable oneness with Christ; thank you for bringing me into such sublime union and identity with the Monarch of the Universe. Now I’m seated with Christ in the place of dominion, glory, and authority, where I reign and rule over circumstances and situations by the power of the Holy Ghost! Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Ephesians 5:29-30* For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. *||*

*||* *1 Corinthians 10:16-17* The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we [being] many are one bread, [and] one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. *||*

Today again, we are reminded of the power in the Name of Jesus; so that we can have faith and confidence to engage and use the Name over anyone and anything on which we want to provoke the miraculous. I'm in awe of the many testimonies I get to hear daily from those bold enough to use His Name.
How about you?
What would you use His Name for today?
Change for your nation?
Healing for a loved one?
A better job?
An end to a generational bo***ge? Deliverance for a family member?
Whatever it is, it would work, because the Name never fails.
Have the faith to use His Name and like Peter in Today's Devotional Article, be expectant to see that miracle happen instantly.
Enjoy your weekend.
God bless you.

When a fish chooses to get out of water and play on dry ground, it makes it easiest for the fisherman to catch it without struggle. Dinner is served and the fish becomes history.
We have entered a season in the realm of the Spirit when it is extremely dangerous not to walk in the supernatural and in our office as Christians.
As priests and kings, don't joke with your prayer altar (your ministry of intercession) and your royal decrees that become laws when made.
Yesterday, we studied about the Name of Jesus; Today's Devotional Article emphasizes the power of the Spirit in our words.
Refuse to function without that power and don't walk out of Christ, lest you become a prey like that fish. Be conscious of what you say always, whether in a joke or a social media trend. Be you and let the world adjust.

Have a Great day.
God Bless you.

Repetition is said to be the law of deep and lasting impression. Today's Devotional Article is therefore a kind reminder that we have something that works at all times; that we can use to make things happen on our behalf, to cause demons to bow, to send angels on assignments and much more.
What's this tool and how does it work?
Find out as you study for yourself. Have a splendid week.
God Bless you.

"There are lots of results we'll never see except we pray."
The power, dynamics and advantages of prayer can never be overemphasized.
Never allow prayer become a casual phenomenon in your life such that you ignore its power to transform because of how common we pray. How many times you pray is how many times God expects you to receive answers because that's how many times He answers.
Have faith in your prayers that much; for the Lord delights in your prayers as His own very love child. Enjoy the entire devotional Article and have a great day.
God Bless you.

I've observed a certain spiritual burden in the hearts of many believers in recent times - that the knowledge of the will of the Father and His Word be known throughout the earth; that the supernatural become common place in our homes, streets, cities and nations.
For this to happen and be sustained, the revelation of Jesus must be prioritized above all else. Jesus is God and only to those who have accepted this truth is He revealed in the fullness of His Person and Power!
He is Deity and must be Lord in all ramifications of life and in all our human institutions. Only then would we really say that we are ready for His soon return. Enjoy the entire Devotional Article and have a great day.

God Bless you.

Gloryyyyyyyyy!!!
Welcome to June 2022!!!

To think that the first Devotional Article is "The Rain Of The Spirit", this month is definitely one to shout about. I pray that Joel 2:28 would indeed be the vital experience of our present generation in this time and season.
May we walk down our streets and see our mothers holding hands in prayers, fathers teaching at Bible studies in households, youths filling one another with the Holy Ghost and the supernatural as common place.
As we prophesy, may our roads become safe even at the darkest nights, because of the move of the Spirit in these last hours of the last days.

Indeed, we would continue to offer unending praise to our God, praying without season to our Loving Father who hears and answers prayers.
Have a Blissful new Month.
God Bless you.

Early in life, I would read the Bible and wonder if the stories in there were true and if there were still people who walked in the supernatural like the prophets of old, like Jesus, and like the disciples after Him.
Then I read the first book in the series, "God's Generals" and was super excited that there were men and women who took God at His Word and brought the supernatural to bare upon their lives and their generations, beyond the written pages of the Bible. But then, I didn't live in their days.

Then came my contact with Pastor Chris and, for a certainty, I saw Jesus at work in my day and time. Now, this same Pastor Chris challenges us in Today's Devotional Article to be visionary about the Gospel and to take it everywhere, especially to places that may not have heard about it before. What would you do differently from this day?
May we read about you in the chronicles of God's Generals in the days to come, like we are reading about Paul today. Have a great day, impacting your world for Jesus.
God Bless you.
