According to church tradition, June 29 marks the martyrdom of the Apostle Paul. This year, Christians around the world will take time on June 29 and throughout that weekend to honor the legacy of those who have sacrificed their lives for the advancement of the gospel.

The bible verse John 3:16 could not be truer than this when it says " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." He died for everyone bar none. Salvation is for all mankind, not only for a particular race but for the whole human race, black, white, yellow or red etc. He is color blind as far as race is concerned because He only looks at the human heart, those who have the heart for Jesus.

We thank God for those who are doing the work we should all be doing, reaching the world through missions, being front and center in doing the it.

Please pray for the lost and the unreached groups of people who needs Jesus!

Come Sunday, June 16, is Father's Day. Other than giving glory to the Father of us all who we call Abba Father, our Father in Heaven, this is one special day of the year we pause to ponder and celebrate the blessings of God's gift to mankind in the form of our earthly fathers .
Fatherhood is a role designated by God to man when He created Adam and Eve. It is also a gift that is not given to many. We therefore rejoice and celebrate all the fathers out there. Happy Fathers Day!

Now, more than ever, the church needs the prayers of its saints. Pray for the church of God worldwide as the enemy is relentless in its attack. "The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy...." John 10:10

IS has also claimed responsibility for some of the fires that in recent weeks torched hundreds of acres of land in northern Iraq, destroying crops on land that the attackers say is "owned by infidels."

Christians today are persecuted on an unprecedented scale than in any other period in the history of the world. Pray for the church as a whole as we battle the onslaught of the enemy and for our brethren worldwide for strength in the midst of persecution that they will remain steadfast in their faith.

We find comfort in the words of Jesus when He said in Matthew 16:18 ".............upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it"

"Until the United States recognizes and addresses it for what it is—government-backed jihad, and what it isn't—herder-farmer conflict—we are powerless to help the hundreds of millions of innocent people targeted for annihilation."

No matter what race, color and ethnicity, God desires for His people to know Him and believe in His Son, Jesus, that no one should perish but have everlasting life.

Matthew 9:37 and Luke 10:2 says " The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few". So glad that there are those who go out to the nations to bring the good news.

Its been a very long while since I posted and updated this page. Praying to God for guidance and direction as I turn a new leaf with a resolve to refresh and revive this from slumber.

My thanks to all who had visited and taken a glimpse of this site. You have inspired me and waken me to action because there is much to share about the work that is before us, in that the Lord may be glorified.

The last photos shown were taken during the Medical, Dental and Feeding Mission in 2012. Since then, so much water has gone under the bridge. The ministry has grown in leaps and bounds because of the Lord's faithfulness and the unwavering support of the leadership and congregation of Living Word Christian Church.
