“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” — John 15:18 KJV

As we continued Part 3 of “Why Does the Righteous Suffer?” during Wednesday Night Bible Study, we were reminded to REMEMBER what it means to walk with Christ.

Sometimes your righteous walk will take you through places you never expected, away from people and spaces you once had access to. But don’t stop. Don’t turn around. Keep pressing toward the prize. Keep walking through the valley.

And most importantly, don’t let the response of people make you question your obedience to God. Remember who you’re walking with.

This past Sunday, Pastor Michael Washington reminded us of a simple but powerful truth:

NO CONNECTION, NO SERVICE.

We can have the gifts.
We can have the assignment.
We can show up and serve.

But without staying connected to Jesus, we cannot produce the fruit He has called us to bear.

Sometimes God is pruning. Sometimes we are in a spiritual dead spot. And sometimes we are trying to reconnect to something God has already disconnected.

The reminder is simple:
GET BACK CONNECTED. 🌿

Stay connected to the Source.
Stay in His Word.
Stay in prayer.
Stay close to Jesus.
Because “without me ye can do nothing.”
