This week’s Throwback Thursday is shared in loving memory of our dear friend, Amy Hoekstra, who went home to be with the Lord on June 6.

Amy was one of the very first participants at Compassionate Heart 20 years ago, and her joyful spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her. We will always remember her contagious laugh, bright smile, and the kindness she brought to our community.

Check out the new stairs that were added to our building’s back entry! 🚧🚶

These two small concrete steps may seem simple, but they will make a huge difference for our ministry. Thanks to this generous donation, our staff, volunteers, participants, and families will now have a safer and easier way to enter from the back parking lot (especially during those slippery Michigan winters)!
