Quarter Life is for folks 25 to 50 ish... if you're in that age range then this is for you!
Life moves fast, and it's easy to spend all of our energy investing in work, family, relationships, and everything else that needs our attention. Sometimes we forget that we're worth investing in, too.
That's what this year's Quarter Life workshop is all about.
Join us on Saturday, November 21 for a day of conversation, reflection, learning, and community as we explore what it means to invest in ourselves in practical ways, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Adrian and I have been looking forward to offering this workshop since we first planned it earlier this year, and we're excited to finally make it happen.
We'll start with coffee, snacks, and some time to reconnect beginning at 9:00 AM, then spend the day together from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Lunch is included, and registration is $20 to help cover food and facility costs.
As always, if cost is a barrier, please don't let that keep you from coming. We'd much rather have you there.
Whether you're feeling stuck, stretched thin, looking for a reset, or simply wanting to spend time with people who understand the joys and challenges of this season of life, we'd love to have you join us.
Ready to invest in yourself? Register today using the link below or scan the QR code on the flyer:

Regional Assembly 2026 Outreach Project
Listening For God - And Responding With Care
The theme of this year's Regional Assembly is "Listening for God in a Noisy World.” As we gather to worship, learn, and listen together, we will also have an opportunity to respond to what we hear by assembling Personal Hygiene Kits for people affected by disasters.
The Disaster Response Team invites congregations throughout the Christian Church in Ohio to collect and bring—or send—the supplies needed for these kits. Regional Assembly participants will then be invited to assemble the kits on October 10. In a world filled with noise, suffering, and uncertainty, this simple act of service can become one way we listen for God's voice and respond to the needs of our neighbors. Item list is in the comments. FCC-Z DROP OFF ITEMS IN THE BIN BY DOOR #1.

Family Ministry
When Nobody Has Time
A Family Ministry Webinar sponsored by the Congregational Renewal Team of the Christian Church in Ohio (Disciples of Christ)

Tuesday, September 22nd
6:30–8:00 p.m.
Free Event via Zoom

Family ministry matters—but in today’s world, the honest question is often, “Who has the time?” Families are busy. Congregational leaders are stretched. Volunteers are tired. And yet, the call to nurture faith across generations remains both important and possible.

Whether your congregation is working to strengthen an active family ministry, struggling to maintain one, or hoping to create something new, this webinar is for you.

Join Rev. Dr. Olivia Bryan Updegrove—mom, minister, author, and creator of Faith Tutors—and Kimberly Paul—mom, educator, and Director of Children and Youth Ministries at FCC-Zanesville—for a practical and encouraging conversation about why family ministry matters and how congregations can faithfully support families today.

Olivia and Kim will share from their training, hands-on ministry experience, and personal perspectives of raising families in today’s culture. Together, we will explore how congregations can nurture faith across generations, build meaningful relationships with families, and create ministries that help children, youth, parents, and caregivers grow in faith.

Come be encouraged, inspired, and equipped for the holy work of family ministry.
