Pray for Missouri State Representative Ben Baker, his wife Naomi, and their family. Their daughter Natalie and son-in-law Davy Lloyd were killed by gangs in Haiti last night. Both were full-time missionaries. Join JDFI in praying for comfort, peace, and strength for this family.

Statement on House Spending Vote: JDFI is deeply disappointed in the massive $1.2 trillion government spending bill passed in the House of Representatives today.

Hidden within the funding for major government agencies are taxpayer subsidies for abortion providers, LGBTQ centers, and transgender treatments. But that’s not all.

Also included are more social services for the invasion of illegal aliens pouring across our border and funds for the discredited World Health Organization.

Conservatives in the House fought for reforms, but with only a two-vote majority, they could not overcome the liberal Senate and Biden administration. We pray that this serves as yet another wake-up call to Christians in America. As we approach the upcoming election, it is crucial that God-loving citizens vote for their values.
