The heavens tell of the glory of Elohim; And their expanse declares the work of His hands. Their line has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun, which is like a groom coming out of his chamber; It rejoices like a strong person to run his course. Its rising is from one end of the heavens, and its circuit to the other end of them; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We have reached the third day of 2025, a new year. Many people have made New Year resolutions, such as “I’m going to eat right, exercise, take a class, organize the closet, read the Bible in one year or other goal. A coach I worked with years ago said, “Change is not changed until you change.”
Paul is telling us the same thing. We never become the creation we desire until the old things pass away and we allow Jesus to make us anew in our hearts. We have come to a place where we need the old to pass away; and the new to become.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. Psalm 28:1
The wicked flee when no one pursues: This speaks of a confusion and fear that properly belong to the wicked, not to the godly and wise. The wicked are suspicious and look back over their shoulders.
The righteous are as bold as a lion.
David reminds us, when we walk through the valleys of death the LORD is with us.The righteous are bold as a lion because we know the Lion of the tribe of Judah. We are like a lion, we draw strength from the Holy Spirit. We don’t fight shadows.The LORD is our light and our enemies become shadows in His presence. The psalmist says in Psalm 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. The LORD covers us, He catches us when we fall, and even braces us when stumble.
Walk in the boldness of His grace!
