🎃 TRUNK OR TREAT – WE NEED YOUR TRUNKS! 🚗🍬

Exchange Church is excited to partner with Wildlight for this year's Trunk or Treat, and we need YOUR help to make it a fun evening for families in our community!

We're looking for individuals, families, and Life Groups willing to decorate a trunk, pass out candy, and help us share some love with our community!

This is a great opportunity to serve together, connect with families, and be a light right here in Wildlight!

What if the very things that are hardest for us to live out are the things God wants to to use to transform us? ❤️

In this week's message from our A Better Way: Life According to Jesus series, we looked at the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 and discovered that following Jesus isn't about checking boxes or trying harder to be good. It's about surrendering to Him and allowing Him to change our hearts.

The Beatitudes aren't a checklist of things we have to achieve. They're a picture of who we're becoming as we follow Jesus.

We wrapped up our Get In the Game series yesterday with a challenging message from our guest speaker, Bart Lester, former Auburn football player.

The question he challenged us to consider: What has your heart?

Psalm 90 reminds us that our days are limited and calls us to pray, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

It’s easy to fill our lives chasing the next goal, achievement, relationship, comfort, or distraction. But even good things can become idols when they take the place in our hearts that belongs to God alone.

Bart challenged us to identify one thing that may have taken God’s place in our lives and take a concrete step toward putting Him back where He belongs.

The good news? It’s never too late. God’s invitation is still open, His grace is still available, and Christ alone can give our hearts what they are truly searching for.

Sundays are better with friends! 🏈🍦

Today’s Bring a Friend Sunday was a sweet way to wrap up our “Get in the Game” series—from worshiping together to favorite jerseys, tailgate lunch, and Mr. Softee!

Our guest speaker, Bart Lester, brought a challenging message from Psalm 90, asking: Is God enough for us? He encouraged us to examine what’s taking God’s place in our hearts, make our days count, and find our satisfaction in Christ.

Thank you to everyone who invited a friend and helped make today happen! ❤️

What does it look like to truly care about the people God has placed around us?

In Mark 2, four friends refused to let a crowded house—or even a roof—keep them from getting their friend to Jesus. Their compassion moved them to action, and their faith believed Jesus could do what they could not.

Who has God placed in your life that needs someone willing to carry the mat?

Think of one person. Write down their name. Pray for them. And this week, take one step toward them.

You don’t need all the answers or the perfect words. You just need to be willing to show up and help bring them closer to Jesus.

▶️ Watch Sunday’s message and be challenged to put compassion into action.
