Why does God seem so cruel?” The story of the Passover (Exodus 12) is confusing and complicated, yet deeply compelling. It speaks of human evil, its consequences, and its remedy. Join us as we discover how calamity (i.e., plague) comes, what can save us from it, and why we should remember who we are.

Why does God say that his name is “I AM WHO I AM”? Is that really a name? If so, what does it mean? The questions are endless. Yet, the bigger questions are, “Why did Moses go?” and “What did God promise to Moses?” Join us as we discover where the meaning of life can be found and how we can live it out.

CARE OVER FEAR, COMPASSION OVER OPPRESSION.

Did you know that discrimination and oppression often stem from fear and fiction rather than facts? Yet people are frequently driven by them. Out of fear, Pharaoh enslaved the Hebrews and ordered the deaths of countless Hebrew babies. Yet the infant Moses was spared through the courage and compassion of brave women, including Pharaoh’s own daughter. Years later, Moses would lead his people out of Egypt and into freedom. Join us as we discover what made this dramatic story possible and how we can follow in the footsteps of the courageous women of Exodus 1–2.
