Welcome to the new month of September 2026! Our theme is “Jesus, Our High Help!” from Psalm 121: 1&2 NIV. This song of ascent was sang by Ancient Israel as they were traveling up to the holy city of Jerusalem during their holy festivals. While it was a tumultuous trek up to the city of Jerusalem, the people of God understood that they were not accomplishing their difficult journey because of their own physical strength or ability. Likewise, God alone has been carrying us up and through this mountainous year. Erroneous thoughts would lead us to believe that our human means are enabling or sustaining us in our difficult journeys. However, we know that the Lord is graciously seeing us through it all! And, this means even the more that He cares for us while He’s seated High above all that we are experiencing. Our Christ still chooses to involve Himself in our lives as our Help— Our High Help! Moreover, Christ is not being coerced to help us through our difficulties sometimes but rather Christ is careful to see us through at all times! For this entire month, we are celebrating Jesus Christ as the Maker of the entire universe, and the One Who is taking care of us easily, no matter how difficult our journeys are! Join us as we celebrate Jesus Christ, our High Help!

Welcome to the new month of July 2026. We are in the last six months of the year— halfway through it. We sense God is speaking to us in the exact same manner that He spoke to His disciples in Mark 4:35 NIV which reads, ‘That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”’ A violent storm occurred between Jesus’ statement about the “other side” and when they all actually REACHED it. As we are familiar with this story, it is rememberable that when the violent storm introduced water onto their boat, the disciples feverishly worked to try and remove it from their boat. Meanwhile, it is recorded that Jesus was asleep during the whole episode, to the shock and dismay of His disciples. The “other side” seemed as if it was not the priority to the disciples. Their reality of a water-filled boat didn’t make room for thoughts about the “other side.” Meanwhile, a sleeping Jesus misled the disciples to conclude that He didn’t care about their deadly fate. But when Jesus was awakened by His disciples and given their false perspective, Jesus arose and rebuked the storm, while commanding a stillness of peace. The storm heard Jesus and obeyed His rebuke and command. After all, the “other side” was spoken of by Jesus as the REALITY that they were all to reach rather than a mere IDEA of where they could go possibly. May we all take the position of Jesus wherein the “other side” was His mindset that was not changed by a violent storm. Jesus’ “other side” mindset impacted Him to speak obedience to the storm rather than the storm erasing it. Meanwhile, the disciples allowed the storm to speak to them. May we possess Jesus’ “other side” mindset restfully, impacting us to speak calmness to anything violent that we may encounter during these last six months of 2026— May Jesus’ “other side” mindset be our portion!

Welcome to the new month of June 2026. We are in the sixth month of this year, and we believe what the scripture records in Psalm 102: 13 (NKJV), “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” It’s easy to misjudge how God feels about Zion when it seems that He’s not getting up (arising) fast enough to move on Zion behalf. But it is important to know that it’s a misjudgment indeed because the psalmist reminds us that GOD makes the call when He WILL ARISE AND HAVE MERCY ON HIS CITY CALLED ZION, deeming when it’s the exact time to favor Zion.

On this Sunday, May 31, we celebrate the birth of the Church of Jesus Christ, as we were filled by the Holy Spirit’s Presence and with His Power! Acts 2: 1-4 NIV declares that, “1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

Welcome to the new month of May 2026, as we stand on God’s word squarely because God said so! It is written in Ecclesiastes 8:4 NKJV, ‘Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?”’ The Scripture declares that power belongs to God. And we believe that this power of God is true. In this fifth month of the year, we commit to believing every Word that He has spoken simply because He said so!
