Judy Parrott Mitchell
Sep 28, 1945 - May 30, 2026

Mrs. Judy Parrott Mitchell, age 80, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on May 30, 2026. Born on September 28, 1945, Judy lived a life defined by faith, love, service, and devotion to God.

A devoted Christian, Judy spent her entire life loving the Lord and sharing His goodness with others. Her faith was the foundation of everything she did. She faithfully served in her church and touched countless lives through her kindness, compassion, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to Christ. Her testimony and example will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Carl Mitchell; her mother, Oaksia Bradley Tilson; and her father, Harvey Macon Parrott.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her son, Glenn Thomas Mitchell, and her daughter, Carla Mitchell Anderson. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Sandra O'Neal, Ronnie Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell, and Teresa Gibson; her sister, Irene Wills; her brothers, Alton Parrott and Macon Parrott; 10 grandchildren; along with numerous extended family members, dear friends, and fellow believers whose lives were blessed by her presence.

Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the assurance that Judy now stands in the presence of her Savior and enjoys the eternal promise she so faithfully believed. Her legacy of faith, love, and service will live on through the many lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Judy Mitchell to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

Dear church family. Our sweet sister Judy Mitchell went to be with the Lord this evening. We give thanks to the Lord for her life and although we mourn, our mourning is not without hope. We know that we shall be with her soon.

Please continue to pray for her family and friends as they mourn her passing. If you would like someone to talk to as you grieve, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
