Heavenly Father, strengthen his faith and fill him with Your peace and hope. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, guide his doctors and all who care for him. Bless his treatment, grant him a good prognosis, and restore his health so he may return to lead Your people with renewed strength.
May the Holy Spirit sustain him, and may he feel the prayers and love of the whole Church.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Catholic Social Teaching offers a refreshing, hope-filled perspective on current affairs because it is rooted in Scripture and articulated through Church Tradition. Catholics can examine current public policy issues through the lens of Church teaching rather than partisan stances.

rather it is "timing" it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.” Fulton J. Sheen
