NEW Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/youthandyoungadultministry/ Mission: The Office of Youth and Young Adult Accompaniment strives to provide support, networking opportunities, and training to those who minister to the teens and young adults (ages 18-39) in the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown by facilitating collaboration amongst parish groups, generating enthusiasm, creating and promoting opportunities to personally encounter Jesus Christ on the Diocesan level, as well as assist in cultivating communities and ministries on the parish level that serve others and creates missionary disciples by listening, walking with, and "removing [our] sandals before the sacred ground of the other" (Evangelii Gaudium, 132). Supplementing the resources provided by the Office of Religious Education and Lay Ecclesial Formation, the Office maintains online and printed resources for lending. The Office also coordinates several diocesan events, and facilitates participation in regional, national and international gatherings for young people. • The purpose of this page is to provide an interactive forum where readers can gather and discuss information about the wide range of issues talked about by the Diocese of Youngstown Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
• Followers are encouraged to post questions, comments, and concerns, but should remember
this is a moderated online discussion hosted by the OY&YAM.
• The USCCB appreciates healthy, constructive debate and discussion; that means we ask that
comments be kept civil in tone.
• Comments that may be deleted include those that contain:
