📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE — SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION

Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

We would like to inform our community that the Sunday School registration that was scheduled for this Sunday, September 13, 2026, has been CANCELLED.

Registration will be rescheduled for a later date, in shā’ Allāh. We will notify the community as soon as the new registration date and details are confirmed.

⚠️ Again, there will be NO Sunday School registration this Sunday, September 13.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

انضموا إلينا اليوم الساعة 7:30 مساءً حتى المغرب لحضور محاضرة إسلامية نافعة أخرى في مسجد الخير!

هذه المجالس ليست مجرد درس واحد أو أمسية واحدة، بل هي عن بناء مستقبل مجتمعنا. 🌙

نحثّ بشدة الآباء على إحضار أبنائهم وشبابهم. فعندما يكبر جيلنا الصغير وهو يحضر إلى المسجد، ويجلس في مجالس العلم، ويتعلم مع مجتمعه، فإننا نُسهم في بناء جيل يحب الإسلام، ويحب المساجد، ويطلب العلم النافع، ويحمل راية هذا الدين.

أطفالنا هم مستقبلنا. فلنكن قدوة لهم، ولنُظهر لهم أن المسجد ليس مجرد مكان نزوره، بل هو مكان نتعلم فيه، وننمو، ونبني الأخوّة، ونقوّي علاقتنا بالله.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قال الله تعالى:

﴿كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ﴾
سورة آل عمران، الآية 185

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

بقلوبٍ مؤمنةٍ بقضاء الله وقدره، ننعى إليكم وفاة الأخ مروان عيسى يعقوب، عن عمر ناهز 62 عامًا، الذي انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى.

ستُقام صلاة الجنازة يوم الاثنين 17 أغسطس 2026، بعد صلاة الظهر في:

وسيكون الدفن مباشرةً بعد صلاة الجنازة.

With hearts faithful to Allah’s decree and destiny, we announce to you the passing of our beloved Brother Marwan Issa Yacoub, age 62.

The Janazah prayer will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, after Dhuhr prayer at:

Take advantage of these blessed nights by joining us for the Fiqh lessons held Monday through Thursday after Isha prayer at Masjid Al-Khair. Come earn the reward of praying Isha in congregation and the blessing of sitting in a gathering of knowledge for the sake of Allah ﷻ.

Asalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We are pleased to announce the beginning of our Friday Islamic Lessons at Masjid Al Khair, starting this Friday, May 8, 2026, and continuing every Friday بإذن الله.

These lessons are open to everyone in the community — young and old, lifelong Muslims as well as reverts and new Muslims. The goal is to create a welcoming environment where we can grow together in knowledge, faith, and brotherhood.

We would also like to announce that our Quran Memorization Class will now be held on Fridays after Maghrib prayer.

We pray that these gatherings become a source of benefit for our community and help nurture a strong generation of Muslims for years to come. We look forward to seeing everyone from this blessed community participate and benefit, in shaa Allah.

May Allah bless you all and increase us in knowledge, unity, and sincerity.

يسرّنا أن نعلن عن انطلاق الدروس الإسلامية الأسبوعية يوم الجمعة في مسجد الخير، وذلك ابتداءً من يوم الجمعة الموافق 8 مايو 2026، وستُقام بشكل أسبوعي كل يوم جمعة بإذن الله تعالى.

هذه الدروس مفتوحة لجميع أفراد المجتمع، للكبار والصغار، وللمسلمين الجدد والمُهتدين حديثًا، بهدف توفير بيئة إيمانية تجمعنا على طلب العلم، وتقوية الإيمان، وتعزيز روح الأخوّة بين أفراد المجتمع.

كما نود إعلامكم بأن حلقة تحفيظ القرآن الكريم ستُقام الآن يوم الجمعة بعد صلاة المغرب.

ونسأل الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يجعل هذه الدروس سببًا في نفع مجتمعنا، وأن تُسهم في تربية جيل صالح ومتمسك بدينه لسنوات قادمة بإذن الله.

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāh,

Attached is a video highlighting the incredible generosity and contributions of our community during the blessed month of Ramadan in support of our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

By the grace of Allah ﷻ and through your generous donations, we were able to successfully fund and build a water well in Khan Yunis. This meaningful project was carried out in collaboration with The Peace Dove Organization, whose dedicated efforts on the ground made this possible.

We ask Allah ﷻ to accept from all of you, to bless your wealth and families, and to reward you abundantly for standing in support of your fellow Muslims in their time of need. May He make this charity a means for us to attain Jannah.

بفضل الله ﷻ ثم بتبرعاتكم السخية، تمكّنا من تمويل وبناء بئر ماء في خان يونس بنجاح. وقد تم تنفيذ هذا المشروع المبارك بالتعاون مع منظمة حمامة السلام، التي كان لجهودها المخلصة على أرض الواقع دور كبير في تحقيق ذلك.

نسأل الله ﷻ أن يتقبّل منكم جميعًا، وأن يبارك في أموالكم وأهليكم، وأن يجزيكم خير الجزاء على وقوفكم إلى جانب إخوانكم المسلمين في وقت حاجتهم. ونسأله سبحانه أن يجعل هذه الصدقة سببًا لنيل جنات النعيم.
