A number of evangelical leaders released a statement today condemning minority sexual orientations and gender identities. We know such theology is an affront to the gospel message and we want to remind all LGBTQ people that you are loved and celebrated exactly as you are.

This disaster response organization directs 100% of donations to those in need. They provide local response that is long-term in aiding recovery and rebuilding. Within this article is an excerpt from a letter signed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (the larger church body that supports Dwell) that says "The Republican health care bill] would turn our country farther away from health, farther away from our values, and farther away from a just society. Our faiths call us to expand life-giving health care to all, not to take it away." The issue of Health Care is an issue of faith. Praying for compassion and mercy to prevail in the hearts of all and for courage for people of faith to call upon their elected representatives to act and vote justly.

The Senate bill uses the cover of repealing and replacing Obamacare to end the Medicaid program as we know it.

A different look offers a new perspective. This project is inspiring some to "listen to people's stories" instead of making assumptions based on appearances. This is what faith looks like- listening to people's stories. Pastor Kit would love to visit with you and listen to your story!

One photographer is hoping to counter misconceptions about former gang members by showing what they’d look like without the tattoos for which people often misjudge them.
