Tree of Life Tabernacle We are Torah observant, Holy Spirit filled followers of the Messiah Yeshua. Observing the Biblical Sabbath and Feasts of Yahweh.

We are Torah observant, Holy Spirit filled followers of the Messiah Yeshua, both Jew and gentile grafted together into the Olive tree of Israel (Rom 11, Eph 2) with one law for all peoples (Num 15, Isa 2, Eph 4).

Don’t go looking for a fight with darkness. The apostles didn’t go hunting for darkness. When darkness interfered with God’s purposes, they confronted it. We don’t need to pick spiritual fights, provoke the enemy, or constantly declare our authority over Satan. When opposition intrudes upon what God has called us to do, we can stand firmly in the authority He has given us and trust Him to act.

Paul confronted Elymas because he was interfering with the work of God. The apostles weren’t seeking confrontation, the confrontation came because darkness opposed the mission. And Yeshua gave His disciples an important correction in Luke 10:20, “Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Our greatest reason to rejoice isn't that demons recognize our authority. It is that we belong to God. Salvation is greater than spiritual power, Covenant relationship is greater than spiritual confrontation, and obedience to God is greater than proving our authority.

Stand where God has called you. Let Him handle the battles He brings to your doorstep.

When God’s Kingdom advances, we should expect opposition, but we also need discernment. In Acts 16, a spirit of divination publicly identified Paul and his companions as servants of the Most High God. The words sounded true, but the source was not. Paul refused to allow a demonic spirit to attach itself to the message of the gospel.

This is a powerful warning, not everything that speaks truth is from God. The enemy can use truth mixed with error, false associations, and spiritual confusion to undermine what God is doing. Our responsibility is to test what we hear against the Word and the character of God, rather than accepting something simply because it sounds spiritual or contains biblical language.

Truth does not become truth because a spiritual voice speaks it. We must discern the source.

1 John 4:1
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.”

📣 Shabbat Service is ❌ Canceled This Week

Due to circumstances preventing us from gathering, we will not be meeting for Shabbat service this week. Please use this time to rest, seek Adonai, and remain rooted in His Word.

Deuteronomy 30:16 (NKJV)
in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

God’s commands lead to life. As we walk in His ways and seek to follow His Word, we are reminded that obedience is an expression of love and a pathway toward spiritual growth and faithfulness.

Even when we cannot gather together, we are reminded that God’s commands lead to life. May this Shabbat be a time to draw near to Him, reflect on His Word, and continue walking faithfully in His ways.

Please stay encouraged and have a blessed, restful Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom

Scripture shows us that God sees when His purposes are opposed, and He is able to respond with righteous judgment. Herod killed without cause, and judgment came upon him. Elymas opposed the work of God, and God intervened in a way that ultimately opened the door for others to believe. When the enemy interferes with what God has called us to do, we are not helpless. God is able to defend His work and accomplish His purposes.

We don't have to take vengeance into our own hands or fight spiritual battles in the flesh. We stand in truth, remain faithful to His calling, and trust YHWH to judge rightly and respond according to His will.

When we walk in covenant obedience, we can trust God to handle the opposition.

We shouldn’t be surprised when the world mocks or opposes us. Yeshua was mocked too. When we are genuinely walking in God’s calling and authority, we may encounter spiritual conflict, but we can also expect God to move supernaturally on our behalf.

That is the strength of covenant, being aligned with His will and walking where He has called us to go. We don’t need to fear opposition or intrude where God has not sent us. Stand in truth, remain faithful to His calling, and trust Him to fight the battles that come with obedience.

1 John 4:4
“Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

Covenant means being allied with God and walking according to His will.

God’s power is not a weapon we can simply pick up and use whenever we want. True spiritual authority comes through relationship with Him and walking faithfully in His covenant and calling.

Being seated with Messiah above spiritual powers does not mean we should go everywhere declaring, “Satan, get under my feet.” That can become presumption rather than faith.

Authority is relational, not a formula. We don’t manipulate God’s power, we follow Him, obey what He has called us to do, and trust Him to deal with opposition when it comes against His purposes.

Can you?It’s not possible.

Can you?
It’s not possible.

Sometimes the most important Bible questions are the ones we've never thought to ask.

If Yeshua perfectly obeyed His Father...

And if we're called to walk as He walked...

Shouldn't we carefully examine whether our understanding of discipleship matches His example?

That's a conversation worth having.

Wait on the Lord, He Can Flip the Script.

David knew what it was like to face enemies, experience failure, repent, and cry out to God for deliverance. His answer wasn’t despair, it was repentance, trust, and waiting on the Lord.

Psalm 7:14
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord.”

Paul lived out that same principle in Acts 16. He endured spiritual opposition, was beaten, flogged, and thrown into prison. Yet the story didn’t end there.

God completely flipped the script.

What looked like defeat became an opportunity for the gospel to advance even further. The enemy’s interference didn’t stop God's purposes, it became part of the very circumstance God used to spread the message.

Sometimes God says wait before He says go. Sometimes the battle lasts longer than we think it should. But when God gives the command, He can change everything in a moment.
