Meet Wesley's new campus minister!!

Paige Holaday (Rev. Paige) is an ordained deacon from the Florida Conference, which means she has a particular love and calling for compassion and justice. She has worked in campus ministry for seven years and loves engaging with all of the questions young adults bring to the table. She is passionate about vocational discernment and spiritual formation…which basically means she’s really excited to walk alongside you and help you figure out how God is already at work in your life. She loves all things nerdy, so let her know what video games you’ve been playing and offer up any book recommendations you have!

Do you know CPR? Do you know how to apply first aid? Can you use an AED machine? Fletcher's Chapel United Methodist Church will be hosting a learning opportunity for you to learn each of these skills. It is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th at 10:00 AM. The in-person course will take 2 hours with a follow-up video. Once you have completed the in-person and video training, you will receive a certificate of completion. There is no charge if you would like to attend but not receive your certification certificate. The cost for certification is $15.00 per person.

Our Treasurer, Duane, presented a check of funds raised by Peace United Methodist Church to Sandy Wiseman of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church UMM. Sandy is the “Cleaning Bucket Coordinator” for Fred UMM and our UMM is working directly with them to get these buckets ready for Annual Conference. This is another example of our Cluster working together for a common goal! A total of 74 buckets are planned for preparation, made possible by the funds raised by both congregations!
