At last year's baccalaureate we gave students the opportunity to list some people or experiences for which they were thankful. Here are a few of the responses:

Art teachers for helping them see the beauty of the world

friends and family who have been through it all with me

and teachers!!

THANKS BE TO GOD FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE GOTTEN THESE SENIORS TO THIS MOMENT OF THEIR LIVES!

If you'd like to surround them with your prayers, remember baccalaureate is tomorrow at 7pm in the High School Aud.

Life offers us several milestones that mark the end of one chapter of our lives and the beginning of the next, and there is no better response to such milestones than taking a minute to pause and giving thanks!

So come on our to Pioneer's Baccalaureate this Thursday (6/22) at 7pm in the High School Auditorium.

Help us celebrate the achievement of this year's seniors and send them with God's blessing! Many seniors will be sharing in leadership of the service, as are several of our local pastors.

All are welcome! Please help us spread the word!

As folks prepare for Baccalaureate for our graduating seniors tonight, many have the same question: WHAT DO I WEAR TO BACCALAUREATE?

Here's the honest answer: Whatever you are comfortable in.

Many folks come to baccalaureate in semi-formal attire. Others wear t-shirts and shorts. No one has done the whole graduation robe yet :).

The important thing is that we are together--graduating seniors surrounded by the folks who have helped get them there. Who has time to worry about all of that other stuff?

Introducing... Jeff Mason! Mr. Mason will be sharing the message with the graduating seniors at this year's baccalaureate. Mr. Mason has a long history of supporting school and community work. He worships at the United Church of Christ in Arcade, and sees his civic work as a part of living his life as a disciple of Jesus. We look forward to his words, and pray that God will grant him wisdom and strength in his preparation.
