We don't get to define God by our experiences. It's supposed to work the other way around. π
Our culture has drifted into what's called moralistic therapeutic deism β the idea that whatever feels right for me must be what God wants for me. It sounds harmless, but it's actually one of the most dangerous ways to develop wrong theology. We stop seeing God as He is and start projecting onto Him whoever we need Him to be.
The truth? God doesn't conform to our experiences. He reframes them. He's not a mirror β He's a foundation. And when we start viewing our lives through who He actually is rather than who we want Him to be, everything changes. π
