Waiting on the Lord for His guidance regarding the call of a planting pastor. The period of using worship services to help build our mission group ended in late October. After the holidays and a period of rest, we have resumed our pastoral search.

This is the new logo for the EPC denomination (Evangelical Presbyterian Church). We like its simple lines which convey a clear and powerful message. Grace Pres is thankful for the prayers and support of its three EPC partner churches as well as the EPC denomination at large as it anticipates its last worship service to take place this coming Sunday. The time is 9-10:30 am. Same wonderful place: The Little Green Church.

Did You Know? An important characteristic of Reformed worship is that the reading and preaching of the Bible is central and therefore informs the theme of the entire service.

Dad asked Lili to tell the congregation about someone she met during their trip to Rwanda. Lili: "I met this woman whose husband and children had died and I can't imagine how lonely she felt. She was really poor so she got a loan from HOPE and started her own business." So went the wonderful testimony of a little girl who "went to work" with her dad. Being "attentive to children" means including them in the real life and work of the church.
