**Connect. Connected. Connections.**

What does it really mean to be a connected church? In his latest article, Pastor Dave takes a look at what it means to move beyond simply attending church and toward truly connecting, serving, and showing God’s love to others.

Take a few minutes to read his thoughts—and ask yourself: **Are we simply attending, or are we truly connecting?**

Lord, if You are for us, who can be against us – a rhetorical question with only one answer: no one, nothing, no force in all creation.

If You are for us isn’t hypothetical but fact, that the God of the universe has chosen to be for me, allied with me, supporting me, fighting on my behalf.

Teach me that opposition doesn’t disappear because You’re for me, but that it becomes irrelevant in terms of ultimate outcome, that what stands against me cannot prevail when You stand with me.

Who can be against us isn’t denying that enemies exist but declaring their powerlessness compared to Your power, that whatever opposes me is outmatched by the God who supports me.

Help me face opposition with confidence, knowing that no enemy, circumstance, or force is stronger than the God who is for me, that victory is certain when You’re on my side.

Remind me that You being for me isn’t based on my worthiness but on Your choice, Your grace, Your love that decided to align with me despite everything.

Give me courage that comes from divine alliance, boldness that flows from knowing the strongest force is for me, peace that rests on the truth that nothing against me can succeed.

Let me live today with the confidence that if God is for us, who can be against us, facing everything boldly because the Almighty is on my side.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

There are times in life when loneliness can settle in, even when other people are around. You may feel forgotten, misunderstood, or as though no one truly knows what you are carrying. Friends and family may care deeply, but they cannot always see the thoughts that keep you awake at night or understand the weight you feel in your heart. God sees every hidden burden. He knows your thoughts before you speak them, hears every quiet prayer, and notices every tear. His presence does not depend on whether you can feel Him in the moment. He is still there, faithfully walking beside you.

When loneliness comes, let it remind you to draw closer to God. Talk to Him honestly about what you are feeling, just as you would speak with someone you trust. You do not need perfect words or a strong appearance. God welcomes you exactly as you are. People may come and go, circumstances may change, and some seasons may feel quieter than others, but God remains. He will comfort you, strengthen you, and carry you through the moments that feel too heavy to face on your own. No matter where you are or what today brings, you are loved, you are seen, and you are never really alone.

Something to consider....

Something to consider....

It is possible to spend years talking about God
and very little time actually with Him.

We can know the sermons.
Know the Scriptures.
Know the theology.
Have Christian friends.
Attend church faithfully.

And still neglect the secret place.

Paris Reidhead put it sharply:

“Most Christians do not have fellowship with God; they have fellowship with each other about God.”

There is a difference between knowing about God and walking with God.

We can discuss prayer without praying.
Talk about His presence without seeking Him.
Study His Word without allowing it to search our own hearts.

Even good Christian fellowship can never replace fellowship with Christ Himself.

Jesus did not call us merely to know things about Him.

He called us to abide in Him.

“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4

Maybe the question isn't, “How much do I know about God?”

Maybe it is:

If every Christian voice around me went silent, would I still know how to meet with God alone?

Don’t settle for only knowing about Him.

Know Him. Walk with Him. Abide in Him.
