Siloam Cemetery Association This association represents the Siloam Cemetery, located in the Siloam community of Sumter County, Alabama, just a few miles south of York.

The Siloam Cemetery Association officially meets once a year, always on the Saturday after Mother's Day, at 11:00 am. The association meets inside the Siloam Baptist Church for a worship service, followed by the annual business meeting and a potluck lunch. Come early, decorate the graves, and visit a while through lunch. Donations are accepted year-round by mailing them to Mr. David "Skip" Holder at 71 W.L. Ezell Road, York, AL 36925

Hi folks.

Just a reminder of the Siloam Cemetery Memorial Day.
This Saturday, May 16, 2026.

If you have kin folks buried in the cemetery, this is for you.

Come early and "decorate" graves or visit with friends.

The memorial service begins at 11am inside the church building.

The brief service will be followed by the annual business meeting, which includes election of officers.

Potluck lunch after that in the fellowship hall downstairs. Fried chicken and ham are being provided along with tea. Please bring anything else.

Donations will be collected for the cemetery maintenance.

The 2026 Memorial program will be Sat. May 16 at 11am inside the Siloam Baptist Church. We meet on the Saturday after Mother's Day for a brief service, annual business meeting, & potluck lunch. Meat will be provided. Please bring your side dishes. Reid Vaughan is scheduled to be our speaker this year.

The 2025 gathering of the Siloam Cemetery Association will take place on Sat. May 17 at 11:00 inside the Siloam Baptist Church. The Association meets annually on the Saturday after Mother's Day for a memorial service and potluck lunch. This year, the meat is being provided again. Please bring your side dishes.
PLUS, if you are not receiving a letter in the mail about the memorial, we would love to have your address.

Announcing: Siloam Cemetery Memorial, Coffee House Reunion, and the church's 185th birthday celebration.
Make your plans for any or all 3 of these events!

Sat. May 20 - Siloam Cemetery memorial service at 11am. This will be our first gathering since 2019.
Speaker - Brad Campbell
Music - led by Tom Taylor and Deborah Truelove, solo by Reid Vaughan
Lunch to follow, with chicken, ham, mac&cheese, rolls, and tea. Please bring vegetables, salads, or desserts.

Sat. May 20 - Reunion of the "Coffee House" youth group. 6pm in the church fellowship hall.
Please bring finger foods! If you have pictures etc, bring them too.

Sunday May 21 - Siloam Church 185th birthday celebration at 10:30. (No Sunday School.)
Speaker - Tim Craddock
Music - Darren Williams, former Siloam music director
Lunch provided by the church.

The Siloam Cemetery Association will meet in person this year! Mark the date! Sat. May 20 at 11am at Siloam Baptist Church.
This will be part of a Siloam homecoming weekend, including a "Coffee House" youth group reunion at 6pm Sat. and Siloam church's 185th b'day Sun. May 21 at 10:30.
