🍂 FALL KICK-OFF AT ZION! 🍂

It’s time to KICK OFF a new season of learning, laughing, and growing in faith together! We’ve got something happening for every age group, so bring the kids, invite a friend, and come join the fun!

Beginning Sunday, September 13th, our faith formation returns for ages 3 ys to Adult at 9AM every Sunday.

Our youth groups will also have their monthly meet ups that day as follows:

Kidz Konnection | 11:30 AM–1:30 PM Kindergarten–3rd Grade
Lunch is provided! 🍕 Kids will enjoy games, activities, plenty of fun, and faith lessons that help them discover what it means to follow Jesus.

Club 456 | 3:00–4:30 PM Grades 4–6
A great afternoon of faithful conversation, games, friendship, and FUN!

Jr./Sr. High Youth Group | 6:00–8:30 PM Grades 7–12
Come hang out, play games, build friendships, and dive deeper into faith together.

There’s a place for EVERYONE!

This weekend, Pastor Katrina Holland invites us into a part of Jesus’ story as she speaks on Matthew 16:21-28. Jesus tells His disciples that following Him isn’t always about taking the easy road. It’s about letting go of our own agenda, taking up our cross, and trusting Him with the journey.

That’s the question Jesus asks His disciples in Matthew 16—and it’s a question that still matters today. Peter boldly declares, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” From that confession, Jesus speaks about faith the work God calls us to do.

This weekend, Pastor Katrina Holland takes us into the story of the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:21–28—a woman who came to Jesus with a desperate need and refused to walk away when the answer didn’t come easily.

Her persistence, humility, and bold faith remind us that sometimes faith looks like keeping on praying, keeping on trusting, and keeping on coming to Jesus—even when the answer seems delayed.
